dont need biometrics for AP/EAD. biometrics is only for 485 background checks

Without the biometrics appointment you would not have that beautiful picture on your EAD though lol

I had my fingerprints taken yesterday, and this morning USCIS updated my case to "fingerprints taken".  Lets see how long it takes before the next step :D

I wonder, it might be a stupid question, but I didnt fill out any specific dates of travel in my i-131, because i really didnt know at that time. But now I am thinking if I fex had written  3 weeks in April or May - would that made them work faster😬 ? any theories?

IMO they give a #### about your plans and won't give you a special treatment 😊

Finally got biometrics appointment letter today! Best Valentine's post I could have gotten 😁

We're in MA so I assumed we'd go to Boston but appointment is scheduled for RI! Technically it is closer to us by about 30 min drive. Does that mean the whole case will be dealt with in RI? I mean.. That can surely work in our favour as it's a smaller state?

Might be. Boston and Providence have about the same processing times so not much of a difference

Thank you! BTW, I received a letter from them again for the biometrics appointment which is on Feb. 19 but it is only for my AP and EAD nothing for AOS. Is it normal or I still have to wait for my AOS?

How long did it take you to get your biometrics notice?
