2,5 weeks is fine.

You can check if it's really still with DOH https://www.uscis.gov/save/casecheck

It says on Jan 23 the Maryland ss center sent them the evidence. But when we called on feb 5 they said they never received it.

Same scenario here, question for you, did you send a copy of the rejection notice with a new form or you just sign the form they've rejected and sent it over again? 🤷‍♂️

Oh I did a whole new form because it says "date signed" which was filled in, just didn't sign it 🤦

But I should have maybe signed the old one just in case?

I actually sent all the documents for the package again (all the copies needed) just in case they dumped the original packet I sent

Hi! I’ve retaken the test and got a piece of paper as of my license. Good for 2 months until I get my actual driver’s license on the mail. It’s based on my passport number and will be good for a whole year. So I can just get a new one when I get my SSN.

BTW, my AP case was updated as of Jan 29th saying that a decision has been made and I should get a duplicate notice on the mail. The AOS and EAD cases show that my biometrics have been taken.

Wish you a short wait y’all

Hello! When did you originally file your AOS packet? And Have you received your AP in the mail? Sorry to ask so many questions but I didn't see a timeline on your profile. More than anything my husband are desperately hoping to get the AP document back so that he can attend his brother's wedding in April, so a bit of insight on how yours came through so quickly would be much appreciated! Thanks in Advance!

Hi. No I dont have it yet. I think that update was to let me know they were sending a duplicate of NOA1 for AP.

Turns out I only got 1 NOA (for AOS), but the other two were missing, they were returned to sender and then they mailed back to me with a red stamp (dated Jan 29th). So, false alarm, no AP yet.

Regards!

Can someone help here please, I received a rejection notice from the form I-765 due to a missing signature 🤦‍♂️. should I resubmit the old form I got back in the mail? do I have to submit a new one with today's date? do I have to submit a the old one a new one? what do you suggest?.

Thanks for your help!!!

So when they send the rejection notice they sent you like a colored page that tells you put it on top of the new thing you send? By the way the I-765 you got back has little numbers on the bottom right like some computer code or some processing information they use. Anyway if it was not dated either I would just fix the mistake and resend the same sheet. However, if it was already dated then I would just resubmit a whole new I-765 with the signature.

Man, we have got send back some strange things lol. Once we received two packages claiming missing pages to the application. Each package had their rejection notice. This missing pages were all there just on separate packages sent to us lol.

In other news my wife got her Bios appointment for February 21st. Sent out Packet January 23, received 24, so going at good pace here in Los Angeles. Wish I was in San Benardino for a quicker resoultion to the case, but I think Los Angeles field office works pretty good for how many cases I am sure they have. If anyone has questions in Los Angeles I can be of more help I am sure. I am in that office about twice a week.

Hi when did you file? Cause I also haven’t received the NOA1 for EAD but have the case number. I guess it was lost in the mail. I only receive 2 NOA1 for AOS and AP. I called them they said to wait for 30 days ☹️.

Wow it took a long time for them to get you that. Well I just have to wait and hope it shows up in the mail like yours. Thanks for the info!!

Guys whoever has gone thru this a little info may help. Im planning to get my wife a driver’s license. Can she get it now? Or will it be better to wait for the AOS to be approved then get one? If so, what are the requirements? TIA

Different for every state. Florida allowed me to get one without a SSN, valid for a year. A bunch of documents were required and they are still under revision in Talahassee. After passing the written test and the road skills test,  I got a temporary permit (a piece of paper without photo ID), but I should get an actual DL on the mail soon that is good for 1 year. I can renew it as soon as I get a SSN.

I sent the original which was the one they sent me back and a new one just in case, also, a copy of my NOA (I-485) so they know that I already sent the check with the fees correctly. We'll see what happens next.

My office will be Portland OR, I've heard good thing about them, I think they are fast processing green cards and going through the whole process.

It will vary by state.

Here in WA we were very lucky as my husband used our marriage certificate and my documents as proof of residency. He also gave his SSN and got approved for a normal DL valid for 5 years!

Guys. Was doing some stalking here on VJ to kill time, as one does...

And I found that a lot of November 2019 filers are getting RFEs for not including 2019 IRS Tax Returns/Transcripts? What is that about... We filed in January and am betting most of us did not include 2019 tax returns... really hoping not to get an RFE for something not required but who even knows with USCIS

Saw that too 🙈

We planned on letting an accountant do that stuff as soon as I get my "W2" from Germany so that we can file jointly. But if we would receive a RFE for the 2019 tax transcript then we probably have to file separately cause that would be doable online on our own in a timely manner.

I hope they get their #### together and stop doing that nonsense.
