File again for the AP and include a copy of the AOS NOA1. That way you don't need to pay again.

Thanks! Posted today so hopefully it would be delayed by too much. Would have rather messed up on the EAD as I haven't seen my family since July. Oh well. Got husband to double check it this time 🤦. No biometrics appointment yet so they're probably waiting for this.

Hello,

I have received the MSC numbers and Bio metric appointments for my wife and 2 kids. however one of the kids missing the bio metric appointment letter. I assume it got lost while in transit in USPS? how can I follow up?

should I call the customer service? USCIS status update doesn't provide biometric info if it's scheduled.

Sorry I don't know but if you call, follow this. Took us ages to try and get through. We gave up then I saw this and it worked

When did you received the appointment letters? Maybe the missing one is just a day or two behind

Update to "fingerprints were taken" last night.

Where are you guys checking this? On the myUSCIS page? Mine never changed from “we received your case” and I had my biometrics on the 6th. But then again my K1 status on the website still is “we received your case” as well so... not the most reliable source I guess 😂😂

Hey so we sent our aos package but are still waiting for the ssn. We went to social security office 2 and a half weeks ago and still haven’t gotten anything. When we called they said they’re waiting for homeland security to verify information and haven’t had a response yet. Is this normal ?

This is really normal. We applied about a month after his arrival, and they said it will take up to 4 weeks to verify with DHS. We didn't hear anything in the four weeks, and exactly one month after applying we went back to follow up and his status had been verified that morning. We got the SSN card one week later - nothing to worry about :)

2,5 weeks is fine.

You can check if it's really still with DOH https://www.uscis.gov/save/casecheck

For me SSN has been a nightmare. I applied for it at my local SSA on November 4th (3+ months ago) and I still don’t have a SSN/Card. After that I got married, send my AOS/EAD/AP applications and those are moving forward, I even got a Driver’s License since SSN wasn’t working.

I’ve been at the SSA four times after, and they’ve always told me the same thing: “Case shows pending or on hold (or whatever term) on the DHS database, all you can do is wait, and its probably taking too long because you got married after and your immigration process”

Meanwhile, when I check on the SAVE database, it says that the case has been returned to SSA Maryland, I told them this and they had no different answer. They told me to call the DHS directly, but that sounds like a nightmare.

I’ve given up on getting a SSN before my EAD, they’re gonna have to give me one with it.

The only problem is that my wife needs to file our taxes soon, and she’s gonna have to leave field blank and probably apply for a TIN.

Same scenario here, question for you, did you send a copy of the rejection notice with a new form or you just sign the form they've rejected and sent it over again? 🤷‍♂️
