Are they saying that they have a quota for employment based visas and once they ran out, you'll have to wait until more become available? This letter is definitely not clear to the average person! Might be time to consult with an attorney :( or one of the much more seasoned members of this site.

sad part is visa numbers are available and dates are current in my category .

That blows. Did you called them again?

Yup spoke to Level 2 at the 1-800 and they agree that it was wrongly rejected however now i have to email the lockbox email address. we know how bad USCIS customer support is ? Gonig to try resubmit the package with big bold red letters.

i think lockbox folks dont even read applications. Plus it took 23 days to get it back.

When an error is the fault of USCIS they are supposed to give you some sort of relief, what in this case I don't know, but I would inquire with them to see if they expect you to just eat their error or what they are going to do about it. Again like I said I am not sure what they can do or will do. I suspect they will just shrug it off and make you eat the wasted time. At any rate not a good way to start things out. Don't let it get you down, just dry yourself off and get back in the water!!!!!!

Question about the timeline stats on VJ.

I got my NOAs from Lee’s Summit, MO. But I just came back from my biometrics appointment in Jacksonville, FL (I live in Gainesville, FL)

Does that means my AOS Office is Jacksonville?

They have substancially lower waiting times than the average, so that would be great news.

Best of luck to everyone

All our applications are initially handled by Missouri and the EAD/ AP still stays there but your local office is Jacksonville.

How was your driving test?

My first update:

I filed on Jan 23 and it was received on Jan 24. I received the three text messages for all the form( AOS, EAD, Parole) being received Jan. 28th. At this rate will get physical receipts before the end of the week. I can't wait for those receipts another form for proof of physical presence lol. Trying to rack those up lol.

Oh wow. Our date is the same 1/23 but I haven't heard from them. Lol anyway, congrats!

Send a request to the ombudsman, they may be able to help with expediting the request due to USCIS error.

Not necessarily. Biometrics is taken at Application Support Centers. AOS interviews are done at Field Offices. Sometimes those are at the same location, sometimes they're not.

You can put your zip code into https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices to find the field office that normally covers your location. To help resolve backlog issues, USCIS has moved some cases from very backlogged field offices to other nearby offices, so it's not guaranteed that you'll go to the office that normally covers your location.

Great!

Thanks for asking, I actually failed the road skills test lol, because I rolled stop (not 100% stop) on a couple of stop signs at the completely empty practice track. I got a little nervous, but that was it. I’ll go back  next Wednesday to redo it, and that should be the end of it. Funny thing I actually drove 1:30 hrs each way to Jacksonville, so Im pretty sure I know how to drive.

Oh no I'm sorry. But yea, next time you probably won't do that again. Kinda funny, when I drove here for the first time my husband yelled at me to stop at the stop sign before I was even able to see it because it was still far down the road. 😂 I was like, I have my german DL for almost 17th years, I know what I'm doing. That's why I'll do the same as what you did. Drive 1:30hrs to New Orleans next week for my appointment.

Well ok, you're right. But we won't know until we get the interview notice, right?  So best bet is to assume that it will be handled by the closest office which in this case is Jacksonville with both, a field office and an ASC.
