Well... we found a civil surgeon (what a joke of a medical review), submitted the info to the office, and now have the K2 green card now too.  Next step is in about 2 years to remove conditions.

I want to say that I am excited for everyone here. I, myself, am ecstatic about this next process. I wish the best for everyone out there. If I can be of any help to anyone, I will do my best to help.

 

I have a lot of experience filing AOS applications and going to the interviews. I work in an immigration law firm, and that is our only focus (immigration). I have completed many "straightforward" AOS applications and some complicated ones. Even though I do them all the time, I'm still so excited about my own, like a child lol — best of luck to everyone.

Received NOA! today...   1/27 - They all three had Notice Date: 1/17/20.      Junior’s driver license expires tomorrow and we will use the NOA for the AOS to renew it.  We are expecting it to take 20 days for them to cross reference the SAVE database and go through their internal processes.    I have not idea what term they will give the new license.  Does anyone have any thoughts on how long they renew the DL with NOA of 485?

I've no idea how your local DMV in Texas handles that. I can't even get a DL in MS without the EAD

different states, different rules.... Im in Florida and like you need the EAD at least to get a DL

No you don’t. I’m in the process for getting a DL without EAD nor SSN.

I have my road skills exam on wednesday, if it all works out, I will update with the details.

Out of interest, does the biometrics App give you a specific time or time range to attend? Or any time that day? And can it be rearranged?

Asking just in case because my husband is having chemotherapy treatment and knowing my luck, we'll get the appointment through and it'll be the same day as infusion🙄
