Awh yay! Thank you, I’m wishing you luck too.

Im very happy my appointment didn’t fall on the 5th as I wouldn’t have been able to attend on that day without missing something super important my husband is attending, so it’s a big relief not having to try reschedule 🙂

Hope everything goes smoothly for you on the 5th 😃

Hopefully 😊 I saw that you're on Spokane Washington,  I'm moving there in less than 3 months from New York hopefully that will make my process goes faster bc here is so slow

We sent my wife’s AOS, EAD, AP last January 21 via UPS. They received it on January 23.

I have been reading about the filing from other sites (forgot which one) it was stated there that each packet should have a cover letter. My wife was kinda worried cause she only put the cover letter on the AOS packet. Will that be a problem? Since other packet will go to different departments and might be the cause for denial on EAS and AP?

If they fail to see that you filed everything coincidentally they might reject the EAD/AP because of missing fees. It happened before but it doesn't say that it will automatically happen to you. If it happens you simply sent everything back together with the NOA1 for the AOS. Just a minor setback, not a big deal.

Awh awesome. What area are you moving to? 🙂

Yes unfortunately, I have seen that New York has some crazy long wait times. But then again so does Seattle. I’m so pleased I’m not filing there.

Will your case be transferred from New York to Spokane then? I don’t know how it all works 🤷🏽‍♀️

Were you able to send in your packet yet? I did not see in your time line where you had sent it in!

I haven't been able to update my timeline was kinda busy for wedding and preparing our papers. We sent ours last Tuesday January 21. Tracked it and was delivered on a Friday. We are patiently waiting. Good luck to AOS January filers.

Very good congratulations. You did not want to file the AP and EAD? They are free if filed together.

Hello Everyone,

My husband came with a K1 visa. We got married last weekend. I am gathering all the documents together and hoping to have them assembled and sent out by Jan 27th/Jan 28th. Please wish me luck. I have thoroughly studied how to assemble the packet just 2 minor easy questions.

1) How is payment submitted, is there a credit card authorization form?

2) Is a letter from your employer necessary or optional? I would think the tax transcripts, paystubs, and W2 would be enough.

3) Has anyone gotten success when having filled out the 1145G Text Form? Did you actually get text/email updates?

Yes form  G-1450

If you are employed good idea to submit this, don't risk a RFE.

3) Has anyone gotten success when having filled out the 1145G Text Form? Did you actually get text/email updaRIDE.

In most cases they do eventually send you an email and or text.

Thankfully i’m being processed at the Spokane office which is where I live. I love the Seattle area but glad I don’t have to travel there just for fingerprints 🙂

good luck with your appointment 😃
