EAD renewal card being produced after 40 days! Pleasantly surprised at how quickly that happened! No updates on the AP case but since it’s a combo card I’m not too worried.

in other news, tomorrow marks 365 since case switched to ready for interview to be scheduled 😢

For me it also never showed something for AP but it was a combo card and the approval notice in the mail was for both.

Hope there will be another status update on your AOS soon.

How long did it take after “Card was Produced” to get mailed?

Hello everyone!

I created this profile so I could put up an update for NYC filers. I filed in Jan 2020 and received my greencard on 27th February, 2021, five days after my interview.

I was AOS as spouse of LPR from a B1/B2 visa, when we filed we had been married for a year and had crossed the 2 year mark by the time we had our interview, so I received a 10 year green card.

I live in Manhattan and was with the Manhattan field office. I had been stuck on the Ready to be Scheduled for an interview since March 18 2020, in all it took about 10 months to finally receive the interview date.

My EAD was approved in June 2020 and I received it physically 3 weeks after in July, and then my social security card arrived about 10 days later.

The interview was very straightforward, my husband was asked my date of birth and how we met. Then I was just asked to confirm all the information on my form and to hand over any additional proof of bonafide marriage we had.

We took copies of joint bank statements, rent notices with both our names on it, proof of my change of name, flight tickets with our names on them, etc. We also took additional joint tax filing documents but we weren't asked for any.

The only issue was about my visa expiring since I was on a visiting visa but that was not an issue because I filed before my entry expired.

I wish everyone luck! I hope that we all receive our documents in good time so we can live a relatively stress and anxiety free life. It is a HUGE pain waiting for the process to end.

Please feel free to ask any questions about my process that I may have left out, I will be so glad to answer.
