The little slip of paper that you received with your last EAD/AP and your I-485 receipt notice.

The I-797C approval notice for the last EAD? Or are you talking about another paper?

The approval notice and the letter that came with your card. The slip your card was attached to. It's not a must but it says it would make things work faster.

I brought both mine and my husband’s birth certificates and they didn’t ask for either. They didn’t ask for most of the stuff on the letter but I brought it all anyway. I’m having a total mind blank what they did actually ask me for now! 😂 I don’t think they wanted anything from my husband besides his passport photo card to prove his identity to get in the building and again when they called him into a separate room. We weren’t interviewed together due to COVID we were told they were separating spouses, which makes no sense to me! 😂 maybe because the room was tiny and the plexi glass infront of the officer would have only covered me! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

good luck doing the interview alone. I know it can’t be helped. Do you have your date yet? 🙂

Yes, it will be early February. I don't mind doing it alone though it would be nice if I wouldn't have to. But if they separate the couples anyway and it seems many offices doing that it doesn't really matter I guess. I read that they tend to be nice to spouses that have to do it alone because of deployed partners so I hope that's the truth and it will be quick and painless 😂

Do we need to send that original letter which came with initial EAD ? Or a copy ? All the letter or just  half of the letter (top half or half bottom ?

thank you ?

The one the EAD was attached to is just optional. I.e. it's not required.

What's required is a copy of the I-485 receipt notice.

Gotchya. Thank you!!

Hi everyone !

I'm trying to prepare all documents for our AOS interview (Green card from K1).

What do they mean by " All documentation establishing your eligibility for lawful permanent resident status " ? What are the exact documents I have to bring for this? I think it means marriage certificate, because you applied based on marriage.

Hi yall! We are 300+ days since case is ready to be scheduled for interview (I’m in Seattle, WA so no surprise there). We are going to send the EAD/AP renewal forms this week so wanted to make sure I have everything since it’s been a year since we filed any forms:

EAD:

- Form I-765

- I-485 Receipt Notice

- Copy of EAD

- Copy of EAD approval

- 2 passport photos

- Little slip that came with EAD

AP:

- Form I-131

- I-485 Receipt Notice

- Copy of EAD/combo card

- 2 passport photos

- Copy of little slip that came with EAD? Or not needed if filing with EAD

Am I missing anything? Should I send both forms together in one envelope with separate  cover letters?

thank you all in advance for your help!

Send them in the same envelope but "clearly separate the cases by rubber band or fasteners." https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/form-filing-tips

Just sent mine out on Friday and clipped them both together instead of separating them. Do you think this will be a problem?
