I just got 3 texts with receipt numbers from USCIS ☺️ They all start with MSCxxx. Does this indicate anything?

Btw: we used FedEx for shipping, so the G-1145 seems to work not only with USPS.

It's the same for everybody. Everything gets handled by the national benefits centre in Missouri

AOS was delivered on 01/14 and we just got 3 texts last night!

But wierdly, check hasn't been cashed yet. Yesterday was a bank holiday so maybe that's why, but still strange to get the texts before check cashing

Maybe they are a little faster at the PO Box.

But you should be getting the texts anytime now!! :)

We used FedEx but I didn’t clip the G1145 to the package...  it was buried under the check and cover page so I’m not sure if it will trigger.  I should have left it on top of the package.  🙂.     I did get confirmation it was delivered from FedEx though so I’m comfortable they have it.    Check has not been cashed yet.    After reading everyone’s post, I am a little worried about the way I structured my packet.    We put all forms on the top, then one copy of the support behind all three forms.     If they separate the package and distribute, they would need to make copies of our support for two of the forms.    We should have completed each form and have the support each requires behind each vs just one copy of the support for the whole package.     Any feedback from you guys would be interesting.   We’ll see if it has caused problems.  :-))

Yes you should have threatened every form as a single application with all the supporting documents for each form separated.

But well it's done so now you can just wait and see what happens. Try to not stress about it since it might still work out. At least it will be an easy fix if they send an RFE

I don't think the G1145 being under the cover page will be a big issue. Hopefully they will find it under there. If not, the NOA1 is coming so much faster recently so you aren't really losing out on much anyway ;)

They ask for each form to have its own copies of everything, so you might be expecting an RFE because USCIS would never try to make the applican't life easier by printing copies for them - I wish. The contrary, they usually issue RFEs for things applicants already included and they lost. I mean I see why because they have hundreds of thousands of papers to sort through, but still!

I structured my packet like this: G1145 for each form, then cover page for each, the form with passport photos clipped, then a copy of each of the supporting docs for each separate form. So I had 3 marriage certificates, birth certificates, passport pages, visa pages, etc. You basically have to make each packet as if they will be looking at it completely separately from the others.

Since you have already sent it in, try not to stress yourself out. If they need more info, they will reach out, you will send it to them, and your case will move forward. :)

Yes, that is correct... I got 2 texts so I called to find out why and they told me about the rejection. I only got it in the mail.

Btw I already sent back my 131... delivered today so hoping to hear back in under 32 days this time!

Erin, Does your your denials and your texts have the same date? if yes, how many days did you wait to get letter that was denied ?

I got 2 texts (and the papers by now) online they say January but paper says received December 13.

I waited 32 days from delivery date to NOA1, there was no text for the rejected form.

After calling USCIS about this, I received the rejection letter within a few days.

Hope that answers your questions:)

Hi ya’ll,

would it be okay to use tax 2018 instead of waiting for 2019 to be completed? I want to send my husband’s Aos packet, but i dont know if i should fill out the affidavit of support using 2018 or wait for 2019? His visa expires on 31st of january.

thanky you!!

Hello, I did send my husband 2017 and 2018 tax return with his W2, now my biometric appointment is 1/30/20. Because the 2019 tax return is not ready

Did you submit it just recently? That was fast! Might as well do his affidavit with my 2018 tax then. So do we need to send the 2019 when available or just bring it on interview?

FedEx received 1/14 and we received 3 text just a little bit ago.   So it looks like all three forms were accepted with 1 set of documentation.   I guess we could still receive a Request for Information.   Hopefully not....   🙂.
