I did some analytics on 3000 case numbers before mine.   Mine which was submitted around 1/15.    Of the 3000 prior cases, there were 500 485 applications.   Of the 500 485 applications, 3 were approved in April and 13 interviews were scheduled in July.    Others are waiting for interviews to be scheduled.     Hope this helps...   a little action.

The problem is that our timelines are not comparable anymore after they're ready to schedule cause it all depends on the lfo. So we know that interviews getting scheduled but not where.

congratulations. 🙂

im interested in working for myself due to this crazy climate right now. I’ve had my EAD for a little while now but not being able to get a driving license has been a barrier for me not looking for work right now as it would be difficult getting back and forth and I don't feel comfortable using public transport in the neighbourhood I currently live in.

Im interested in following if anyone else has plans to start up their own company from home. 🙂

Yeah I've been thinking of starting to freelance now I can work. My husband has been encouraging me to, saying that now is the perfect time - I'm not 'giving up' a job, having to take on extra work alongside a day job, or taking a huge risk to do it, so I think I might as well give it a shot.

I am very grateful for there being a bus stop literally feet away from my house but until corona settles down or I suddenly get a healthier body with a stronger immune system, I won’t be using it lol. 🙂

Is there little to none where you live? 😔

Well that’s a bummer but having a DL top trumps taking the bus any day of the week! I’m hoping things open up here soon so that I can get mine too. 🙂

Yay fellow entrepreneurs! 🙌
Hopefully the paperwork to start business is straight forward.. I've been researching, but not sure how it is under covid.

I was a freelancer for a while back home until moving here. I'm sure it'll take a while to get enough clients here but hopefully it'll work out. Good luck to you guys too!!

Yeah I submitted my drivers license application back in winter but no news yet... Maybe I should start bugging them again.

Virginia DMV office.😅

I'm transferring my Japanese license to here so I knew it'll take some time (they said about 1 month), and shortly after the office closed so I am still waiting..

I should contact their customer service!
