Some people are waiting a while to get their NOA1 (some up to 30 days).

If your check has been cashed then you can use the case number on the back of your check to track the progress of your petition online.

But it looks like people are waiting a little bit :)

You need to get that case number off of the back of your check so you can keep up with everything online. We filed our k-1 May 4 and when I hadn't received my hard copy NOA1 more than 30 days later, I called the UCIS. They said that there had been a computer glitch and the hard copy had never been mailed out. So they went ahead and mailed it out yesterday. He assured me that it in no way affected the progress they were making on our case though. Still... if you haven't received your hardcopy NOA within 30 days, call them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who who was affected by "the glitch." lol.

2007:

February - May: extended visit to States, engagement.

5/4: I-129F sent (Texas Service Center, forwarded to California Service Center)

5/11: Petition received at California Service Center.

5/16: Check cleared. NOA1 online (no hard copy received yet)

6/19: NOA1 hard copy arrived FINALLY

7/16: Sent off for Police Certificate (U.K.)

8/22: TOUCHED due to phone call (RFE Trick, was told case wasn't assigned yet)

9/20:APPROVED!!! After 127 days from NOA1 and 139 days from filing date.

10/23: Spoke to Kelly at NVC who said they should have received our petition by now. She advised I send a copy of our NOA2 directly to the NVC office, which I did immediately. :-)

10/26: NVC RECEIVES CASE!

10/30: NVC SENDS CASE TO LONDON CONSULATE

11/1: Consulate receives case in London AND sends out Packet 3.

11/6: Sent Packet 3 to Consulate (we'd downloaded the forms on VJ and had them completed already)

11/22: Appointment for Medical.

2008:

01/08: Interview scheduled for 10 a.m. APPROVED!!!

02/01/08: Stephen comes to America!!!

That is really great. Maybe your fiance knows my sister, she's married to a well known family there in Tanjay. Been there many times to visit her also. Anyhow, goodluck. The surname of the family is ROA, maybe your fiance have heard of them. Lets keep praying. . .

Hi ~

I will ask my fiancee if she knows of your sister. Antonieta has been a school teacher there for 22 years. Please ask your sister if she knows of the ROCAMORA family. Good Luck to you...and yes, we must continue praying always.

Hi. .you mentioned about receiving Packet 3 and Packet 4. I have seen Packet 4 because my cousin went thru the same process , shes now in Las Vegas. Packet 4 is the one the the beneficiary will receive as guide for her incoming interview. What about Packet 3? To whom is it addressed and what are its contents?

Thank you.
