Still in transit ??

Case was shipped 1/21 to Abu Dhabi. It’s still in transit. Is this normal ? Most cases show ready in 3-7 days. Then there is another thing wait after this for Pack 3. Trying to be patient but we have a time deadline. Thanks for the input

Some consulates log immediately upon receiving,  others log when they have reviewed it and are truly ready

"Time deadline" does not really work when US immigration is involved....

There is no way anyone on VJ can accurately predict when a petition will arrive at a consulate, when an interview will take place, whether/when a visa issued, etc.  There are just too many parameters that go into it.

Updated to Ready today. So two weeks since ship date. Now to wait for packet 3. ❤️❤️🥰🥰

Thank you !! I was shocked to find that we got pack 3 only 2 days after it showed ready. March 15 interview. Did you marry in Dubai ? The paper work was insane because of my past divorce. I’ll keep you posted on interview !! Good luck :)

That's less than a month from now, you got this! I'm sure you will be approved 🙏

We got married in Seychelles, we wanted a beach wedding and the paperworks is much easier there. Hassle free for both of us since we're both expats.
