A little over 2 years ago I applied for a K-1 visa for my fiancee and she was granted a Visa. She came here to the USA and we married and in 8 weeks she left me and socked me with a false Domestic Violence Charge to obtain the Green Card through the abuse clause. I was not convicted of any crime by her false charges but the Judge kept a Restraining order on us. I have discovered a ton of fraud on her part everything from falsifing her 325-A form to running an Internet dating profile during our engagement and marriage, her name maybe also false that she used plus seeing another man during our brief marriage. She is still living in the USA as of now. I have reported her to the necessary Federal Authorities and they are investigating her now and well as the man who she was seeing for Visa Fraud. We where divorced over 7 months ago on the ground of incompatibilty and she did not even show up in court for the final divorce hearing.

I have since put this tragic experience behind me and I was intoduced to a nice woman who is also from China and we are getting serious about things together. My question is what are some of the problems if any I may run into if I try and go the 129-F Fiancee Visa route again with the USCIS.

Any help on this would apprecated.

Sino-Italiano,

Read some more - whether China Love Links Chat is considered an international marriage broker is not the concern in your case. The title of the act tends to obscure the concerns that are the basis for the act.

Have a consultation with an experienced immigration attorney to review the facts of your situation. They should be able to give you a better idea of any potential problems than VJers can. VJers tend to not have problem situations, and so are unlikely to be able to foresee what they have never experienced.

I read up on IMBRA and I met my on China Love Links Chat is that considered a Marriage Broker Agency? According to what I read it is not.
