We had our interview.

They asked me 1 question, to verify the last 4 of my social . My husband they asked all the security questions in the 485 . No personal questions were asked. I tried to hand over additional docs and he was all no thank you we already have plenty from you.  I was blown away how laid back our "interview" was . After he was all you have a nice lady to my husband and my husband was all "yeah until she rearranges the furniture" 🤣🙄

Today checked status and our card is being produced .

We had our interview yesterday. He called my spouse in first, then finished with him and called me (the sponsor) in.

He was friendly, and questions were fairly generic. We provided our evidence (financial info, info about the wedding, trips we’ve taken). He thumbed through our photo album quickly and a few other personal things (cards, notes) but didn’t keep any of it (I offered the photo album to keep). He told my spouse from the very beginning that there wouldn't be a decision today. He told me the same, and said there's some second database he needs to do a background check on but that system is down.

He said no red flags but he'd let us know if the evidence seems too light. I think it went fine overall, but not sure if we'll need to submit anything extra.

Not sure if others have had similar experiences. Fingers crossed.

Status on the I-485 changed to “New Card is Being Produced” today. The statuses for our other forms (I-130, etc.) has not changed. I assume it indicates an approval but am not certain.

Congratulations!

Hi all Feb 2020 AOS filers, it's been a while since I logged in last time. I am still waiting for interview :(

I just received my 2nd EAD in the mail, so I thought it might worth it to share my timeline of EAD renewal (I didn't renew AP because I don't think I will leave the country this year)

12/05/2020 - Mailed the EAD renewal package

12/27/2020 - Received NOA in mail (Priority Date is 12/14/2020)

03/01/2021 - Card is being produced

03/03/2021 - Card was produced

03/04/2021 - Card was picked up by the USPS

03/06/2021- Card in hand

My old EAD will expire in 04/01/2021 and my new EAD is valid from 04/02/2021 to 04/01/2022. So I am very glad that I got the new EAD just in time.

Below is the cover letter I used for the EAD renewal (comprising of what I submit):
