I had EAD/AP approved July 7 but have not received card yet.

biometrics were scheduled for March 19 but have not been rescheduled, if that’s helpful for anybody.

Same
and based on the rumours of the card printing company not getting contract renewed, i dont even feel like filing the missing-card request

Here in Hawaii they closed public park and beaches again since last weekend. not sure if they would continue to reschedule bio..

I think you will not get a card without biometrics.

One tip folks may want to know when expediting EAD: if you haven't had bio done when you apply for expedite, you better call USCIS again and resubmit the request after finishing your bio.

So here's my experience:

7/8: called to apply for expediting EAD

mid July: received mail from USCIS saying they scheduled my bio appt for i765 & i130 on 7/27

7/30: did not here anything so decided to call USCIS again to ask for update. I was told by the representative he needs to resubmit my request.

7/31: received USCIS email asking for more evidence for the expedite request

I did call USCIS when received my bio appt to ask why I haven't got update about the expedite process. They told me I need to finish the bio first. However, nobody told me I need to resubmit my request after I finish the bio. I did not find anything about this on USCIS's website. So guys, call them and talk to a real person when you feel something is weird cause you may find out there's something you need to do yet won't be told if you don't ask.

Good luck for all of us.

Update about my EAD expedite:

8/10 - Case status changed to new card ordered.

Fingers crossed it'll be here soon as there's rumors about USCIS not renewing contract with it card producer.

My wife's I-765 status changed today to 'new card is being produced'.

Here’s her timeline:

AOS Filed (adjusting from H1B): 2/15/20

Received (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131): 2/18/20

Biometrics (at the New Orleans field office): 3/16/20

Case ready to be scheduled for interview: 4/13/20

I-765: New card is being produced, 7/21/20

Interestingly, my.uscis.gov shows no update while egov.uscis.gov shows 'new card is being produced'. We haven't received any email/text about this update yet.

My status just updated to EAD card being produced (no biometrics).

can you please share if your wife received her card already? If so when did status change to “card shipped”?

Thank you. We are in the same AOS process but filed just a month later. I see it is roughly 2 weeks wait for card production. Will wait and hope it is not a glitch.

Just got our interview appointment in the mail today for the end of August! Strangely, my EAD/AP status is still stuck at "fingerprints taken" since March 😕 not sure what to think about that but hopefully we are close to the finish line.

Just saw that our EAD/AP have been approved! It didn't say that the card is being printed though. Just says "we approved your form". Does that mean the card is being printed?
