I just got a second biometrics appointment letter. Is this normal? I already did mine...

AOS via F-1 

  • Feb 3, 2020 - Application received
  • March 5, 2020 - Biometrics completed
  • March 19, 2020 - RFE requested
  • April 20, 2020 - Response to RFE received
  • April 27, 2020 - EAD expedite requested, evidence requested and submitted
  • April 28, 2020 - Request for additional information received
  • April 28, 2020 - New card is being produced!!
  • May 1, 2020 - Courtesy letter about medical exam received
  • May 5, 2020 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview
  • October 19, 2020 - Interview scheduled notice
  • November 10, 2020 - Interview date
  • November 12, 2020 - AOS approved

Normally I'd say no, but it seems like more people have received one for their I-131. As far as I know, if USCIS already has biometrics on record that haven't expired, then they'll apply those to other petitions/applications.

Just got the message saying my AED card is being ordered

Haha thanks for the kind words. Perhaps I should call them every day as well then ;)

 

Now with this virus thing, that EAD would be very welcome.

I think calling them work 

The that virus thing is canceling interviews all over , that’s my main concern 

it’s going to delay people cases big time

Sent it the 03/11/20 and I received an updated the 12 asking me to fax proof I did the 13 wich was Friday and yesterday I received an update saying they received the proofs and early this morning card being produced

USCIS offices is closed from today...

went there this morning and found the notice at the door.. they could have just sent us a mail or txt ...
