If you were born after 1991 then you can use the NPC birth certificate but if not get the attestation of birth and take along with you to your interview. I have seen people put on AP because they didn’t have it. Better safe than sorry.

Oh thank you! Pls how can I go about it? What’s d process?

Go to NPC close to you, check their website online for office address. You can go to the one I’m Surulere if you are in Lagos. Tell them you want to do Attestation of birth. They need high court declaration of Age and I think passport photograph. They will give you a form to fill and tell you when to come back for it.

here is the updated ban. I have a question. My wife has tickets to visit me March 19th-28th. She is Ukrainian which Ukraine is not banned. But she has a connecting flight in Poland which is banned. So either cancel and find a non stop flight which still has seats as of today from Ukraine to Newark NJ. Or not to worry as Trump says the ban does not apply to an Alien who is the spouse to a US citizen which I am? Part of me feels just keep our current tickets everything will be ok as she is my wife and can carry a copy of our translated marriage certificate. But I am unsure. If anyone knows any info on this please quote me as this is a big thread and I want to hear your answers. Thanks

I think if ur birth cert is from NPC that's means u will b needing  an attestation from NPC to back it up. But if u submitted original birth cert, I don't think u need any attestation to back ur birth cert.

It shouldn't be more than 4k if you have the high court declaration. Just Google NPC

I am a bit confused on this matter so maybe you can help me understand my fiancé has a certificate of registration of birth from Oyo State. Will he need to get an attestation? He was born 1988.

My dear, I'm also confused. I just want to have it cos of the way  people are talking about it. I've seen many visa reviews where they ask people to provide attestation letter. Its better to just have it.

Yea that’s why I’m asking too but to be on the safe side I’m going to tell him to get one.
