I do not know.  I am just reporting what my fiancee is telling me from a Myanmar Facebook group, that applicants with K-1 visa interviews were approved. Not sure if passports were kept.  So it is like...double hearsay.

Just learnt today that k1 is not considered an immigrant visa category...

Correct....but they are normally processed through the immigrant section of Consulates......that is one reason there is a mystery as to how each consulate will handle them.

Is all good. But I don't think is going to take years

The current PD on the USCIS bulletin shows that F4 visa is 2006..  it will be 5+ years before someone with a PD of 2011 gets to the top of the list ....

I know it doesn't really say much pertaining to us, just thought to share.

This is part of the reason i shated it though..

Because i was asking yesterday if one could visit while we wait for a miracle.

Well, let me go and rest my pretty head, the whole thing is draining. May God help us.

That was an Obama change.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

But that was not mentioned on the link you posted,  it's likely it didn't affect k1 applicants, we'll wait and see though,  currently it's been confirmed k1 visas were not affected in Burma and Krygstan,  hopefully that will be the case in Nigeria.  I'm positive the ban would be lifted soon in Nigeria though so that everyone of us will be fine.
