Good day guys, I got my K1 visa issued in Lagos Nigeria January 2020 and I have my visa in my passport handy. I plan on travelling next month. Will I still be able to join my fiance despite the travel ban placed on Nigerians. Thank you.

Your probably not going to have any problems but if one were to occur, I would think it will be at US immigration as they still have the responsibility to who the allow in the country.

My crystal ball doesn't predict when he will leave office.....but it seems that Nigeria and the US are actively engaged in a process to lift the ban....I hope so.

Yes they are. Nigeria isn't a small African country to ban. They have already addressed the security issues with their e-passport which will go into effect in march. Hopefully it will be lifted sooner than we think.

It was put into place in March 2019 (not this coming March).
