Medical is usually 6 months (but can be less with certain conditions). PCCs are 1 year.

PCC says 3 months validity but the US accepts them for 1 year.

I am so worried, my husband's interview is next week ,I dont know if I should postpone it for now.am scared of the outcome.

Why postpone it?   I would absolutely NOT postpone the interview.  The ban could be lifted at any time.  Besides, the interview is one step closer to final determination concerning your case.

Ask them what,exactly?  Postponing the interview accomplishes nothing at all.

3rd march, well you have time. Call the Lagos Consulate and ask them. But rescheduling your interview doesn't guarantee that ban will be lifted the new date you pick. The best thing to do is to continue praying and preparing well, ban may be lifted or you could qualify for waiver at interview.

I wouldn't call anyone.  I would attend the interview as scheduled.....if the ban is still in place, your husband's case will likely just be placed on hold until the ban is lifted or a waiver is approved....

I wish i have found VJ when i was starting my process it would have saved me all these unnecessary delays. I forgot to add bank statements in my NVC stage and CO asked for a joint sponsor without asking for my bank statements

There’s no calling the embassy. The person that answers will tell you to email LagosIV@state.gov. If you send a generic email you’ll just get the automatic response. If you put the beneficiary name and case number in the subject line, you’ll get a response.

Hi guys, I'm new on this thread. My family will be having our interview on Monday and I will leave you to guess how we feel right now. But the question I really wanted to ask is this, I called the Embassy customer care lines at least twice since the ban was announced on the 31st and both times they said we shouldn't worry and that we should just attend our interviews yada yada yada. I wonder if it makes any sense to continue to string people along or 'manage' people that have spent so much time, emotions and resources over a process that exists by law and which just got torpedoed over a whim? Forgive me for this, but I'm really finding it difficult to wrap my head around that. So what happens to all the money spent if this happens? Also will there be legal grounds for redress or compensation? Sorry if this sounds extreme but shouldn't we also think ahead of the curb? #JustAsking
