yes, there is a ban ending by 31st December.  We pray trump didn't extend it again

Isn't the ban that ends Dec. 31st for LPR, not CR1?  The ban on all the countries has not changed but one can still get a waiver and get a visa. I wish everyone the best. Just pray the countries don't lock down again.

Oh ok. Cr1s are unaffected by the ban. Are you owing any documentation? You have any idea why you might still be refused

what about presidential proclamation 9983 that was issued by trump on Jan 31 2020?

if you're on CR1 Visa and you spouse a US Citizen then you are NOT affecting by the ban but if your spouse is a LPR then it affects you.

Yes, Trump extended the ban on work visas and green cards until the end of March I think. I wish everyone the very best.

People that had spousal interviews (Cr1/Ir1) that were canceled due to Covid should log into the CGI website because the embassy has opened the calendar for people to reschedule their interviews.

My husband has his interview on Monday Jan. 11th and it was not a reschedule. I pray everything goes smoothly so we can finally start our lives together. My sister is in the last stages of her life battling esophageal cancer.  They are saying she only has days. Please pray for us because her wish was to meet my husband in person. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much. It's very tough to watch and I am not handling it well without my husband. I know God is merciful and will see us through this difficult time.

I picked up my passport yesterday. Thanks to you, @Patricia Owuh @mac_skendy for the support so far. If I may ask, did you do covid test before leaving?

Nope because I used Delta airline which takes you direct to 🇺🇸

Alright. Thanks.

You are welcome.

I'll advice you to use Delta airline because alot is going on in Europe country regarding covid. If you transit from any Europe country before entry US you would likely be ask to present a covid result.

But Delta take you direct to Atlanta then domestic flight to your final destination.
