I'm happy that they've contacted you. May i ask if you were in administrative processing prior the covid lockdown? and if yes, when did you here from them?

Thank you

I was put on administrative processing immediately after my interview that was on the 17th of March. I was contacted on the 15th of this month

If your husband is now a citizen, shouldn’t you be applying for a CRBA for your child? Check if your husband qualifies to pass on his citizenship.

Thank you, we wanted to do that at first but our baby doesn’t merit the criteria that stated that ‘The US parent must have present in US at least 5yrs before the child was born’ but my husband only present 4yrs 10 months before our child was born.

Ok

My husband is saying that the embassy may shut down again because of all the protest . Hope this isn't the case! The embassy needs to be secure.

My husband had to go to the clinic yesterday.  He said that the prisoners were jumping the wall, and that it was too dangerous to drive. They are protesting all over. In the city in which he lives, they were burning down the police stations. Surely, this is scary and sad. We have love ones over there and as well as other family members. Let's continue to keep them all covered with prayer. I have been interceding daily with others concerning this.

I pray that the embassy doesn't close down again.

Pls does anyone know what it means for your ceac status to change to refused. Mine just changed today to refused. And it says pls follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the Co that your case was refused for admin processing you will receive adjudication once such processing is complete.........I didn’t get any email, My medical has also expired. And my interview was In March

has this happened to anyone recently?

You had your interview recently? Did you have a cancelled appointment for interview before COVID-19?
