I'm sorry about your sister's health and I understand every bit of emotional trauma you are going through. This whole situation is not easy on anyone, it has drained me emotionally. My prayers everyday, is that they resume visa appointments soon. God is our strength, be strong dear.

It's well in Jesus name dear. We will get through this by God's grace.

Are these not good grounds to expedite the cases? Hope you've explored this option.

I won't pretend to say I know how you're feeling, but will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you find relief soon. Meanwhile, stay strong and stay safe. #OneLove

Amen, Patricia. I stand in agreement with you for your prayers. I understand, my sister is battling cancer of the liver. She received a lover and 2 kidneys a few years ago. They just removed cancer from her leg and she is back on the kidney and transplant list; they have made it urgent.  She is on dialysis 3 times a week. A she has lost so much weight. So, I completely understand.  I'm so sorry....

Have you tried to expedite your case? I am hanging on by a thread I can tell you!

Yes, but unfortunately when you try to expedite at Lagos;  they say that they want to be fair. They have stated that a lot of people have been waiting.

I have a friend who's wife was about to give birth and her baby was breeched. So, they expedited their case. It was critical because of the baby's life was in danger...

Sorry for your wife's loss and sorry about the surgery. I wish your expedite request had been approved. Some get approved so easily and others not. Doesn't seem fair but.....

My sister had 2 breach births but they never said the baby's life was in danger. They got approved for that? Wow! Congrats to them.

I understand that a lot of people have been waiting ,truly I do. This has been the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with. This whole immigration process is depressing, financially draining, and hurtful. By God's grace there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Prayers to all of you!🙏🙏🙏

Yes, they did get approved if I'm not mistaken it was back in December last year.

The wife had some underlying medical condition I think it was high blood pressure diabetes and something else; that made her at a high risk as well. And they did go ahead and expedite the husband's interview which he was approved for the Visa.

Why other cases are able to get expedited some I do not know...

Sorry about your friend.  Without being pregnant I have diabetic complications, and high blood pressure. I also suffer from vertigo which is so bad at times I am bed ridden. Everyone has their own issues but some cases for emotional support and all get approved for expedite and others with serious critical problems can't get expedited. It's  sad really.

Hi Everyone,

I hope all of you are having a good day and that your cases move along quickly. I saw a little bit of good news for the Nigerian embassy. They aren't conducting visa appointments yet but they are taking interviews for passports of US citizens. I'm prayerful they follow the path of other embassies who started with passport services then moved into visas.
