Arewa so you are done? Have you gotten an interview date yet? I was so hoping and praying my husband would be with me before the holidays, but with the embassy not opening until October, I don't know.

No, did you? This has been an on going process from beginning until now. One year, three months and 14 days and still not with my husband.

It's well. God will us . If they start October I hope it will be fast because they will only working on CR1 , IR1, CR2 and ir2 then K1. Those that are not under covid 19 ban

Got DQ since March, interview was scheduled in April. The journey is exactly 2yrs 2 months today😭😭😭😭

I think your case should automatically change to ir1, meaning u gonna be getting a 10years green card at the port of entry

Still CR1, the case is already in Lagos, it’s only when case is with NVC that can be upgraded, but it’s in Lagos now.

If the beneficiary enters the US after their 2 year wedding anniversary the green card will be the 10 year one. That’s what he was referring to.
