Trust me I understand. My fiancé hasn’t met our baby and it sucks! Just saw news that the British High commission is renewing expires visas for free. They have been open and working. But the US embassy is acting like they are waiting for a vaccine. 
 

it’s just a matter of time.....let’s be hopeful.

Correct but at least it’s a positive sign that they are trying to help them and hopefully USCIS will call off the furlough for now.

They will have to furlough people if something drastic isn't done because they don't have the funds to stay up and running.

What bothers me the most about the American embassy in Nigeria is that all other embassies are open and functioning.. Like Canada, UK and Ukraine.. I think this is getting just darn ridiculous 😡😡.. keeping families apart for this long.. they have absolutely NO consideration 🙄🙄

Yes, I agree. Their econimy is tanking fast so they need to open and get money coming back into the country. This is ridiculous.
