You will see it in CEAC. It will show ISSUED. The actual date will be on the visa.

There's no way for them to tell you at the interview as the visa won't be issued until the case completes checks and they decide to issue the visa.

Ok so after interview I can watch CEAC to see when it changes?

Thank you all for your wonderful contributions, they were very enlightening and very helpful. It help to douse down tension especially for those of us who don’t have our interviews dates yet and visas in hand.
I pray everything goes on smoothly in the right direction for everyone of us who falls within the purview of this ban.

I just watched this (the below link) and it does make me hopeful that Nigeria will do what’s needed to get the ban lifted on the country.
Hope this helps. Let’s also pray, pray and then pray some more. 🙏🏾

There's no evidence of it impacting anything for current permanent residents, including naturalization.

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the government will do what is required to get off the list. It is positive to know the Nigerian government is meeting and trying to resolve the issues.🙏🏾

I'm confused bec k1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa so how does it effect us?

Although it's considered a nonimmigrant visa, it's viewed like an immigrant visa since the purpose is to immigrate to the US, But you are right, hopefully the countries comply with all recommendations and this is lifted asap :)

From your profile, looks like you went through the same process in 2009, so I'm sure if it was as easy as to "just move there" you yourself would have just done that rather than the K-1 process. All circumstances does not allow that option and one would think someone who personally went through it themselves would have better advise for those who's been affected by this sudden ban. I'm sure if this ban was placed during your process, you would have felt differently about it. Guess it's hard for you to relate now since you're already in the US and congrats on your naturalization.

Yes we did it 9 years ago, but we also talked about immigration the other way.  You are expecting them to give up whatever work they are doing and pack up to move to the US.  Why would you not consider moving the other way ?  Yes you would make less but the cost of living there is also much less.  The language is English and most of the major tongues are not that hard.  If you are in love you do what it takes to be together.  If it some sort of rescue mission to save someone from Nigeria , it may not work  both because of the ban and because many find the US isn't the streets of gold they have heard about.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
