Miss spelled names on The NVC letter.

Just received an email from the National Visa Center and the first thing I noticed that my husband's name was spelled wrong..So I just thought it was a typo error on the email but when I logged on to our account At the CEAC, my name (petitioner) and my husband's name (beneficiary) was both spelled wrong.. All the documents I sent and received from the USCIS has the correct spellings but when I received the notice from the NVC,it has it miss spelled. What can I do to have it corrected? I just so concerned that this will be an issue when i Proceed with the visa processing..Thanks in advance for the help.

Ask NVC to fix, otherwise it can be corrected at the interview.

I sent an inquiry on their website. It took 2 weeks on mine before they updated the correct Last name on my Principal applicant.

 

They will also send you an email about the changes they've made.

You can call NVC directly, I just read another thread where a name was mispelled and after the petitioner called, NVC fixed it AND expedited the case.

I called them and after waiting for almost 2 hours, they finally did something on their end and said it will take about 6 weeks to get it fixed on the portal. Its better than waiting for nothing right? I was hoping they would expedite the case but instead she said they are still reviewing cases from dec 20..
