Thank you, I know it’s hard to be patient and wait for uscis to work on our cases but since there’s nothing we can do , we just have sit tight and live, I’m looking forward to the citizenship process , so I’m  sure lots of us will continue To keep in touch,  Good luck

Hello!

Has anyone received approval from Vermont filing center? I filed beginning of Feb. and my case status still says "fingerprints were taken in May".

Also I hope to travel late August/early Sept. but pretty sure won't get my card by then given the slow processing times. Has anyone traveled to their home country with their expired green card and notice of action during COVID-19 times? Were you able to get back in without any issues? I'm worried as there's a new immigration rule everyday...

Just wanted to provide some updates on my case.

Just got a text message (and email) stating the card was mailed to me today (20 days after I received the approval notice message). I was following up on another case that got the approval notice a day before mine (07/07) and they received their card on Saturday (07/25). I just thought it was interesting.

I should get an update with the tracking number tomorrow.

That’s Good news Debbie! I’m 12 days in from when I got the update about my card being produced so we’ll see how long it takes to get the text.

I've never received the update that the post office got the card yesterday. So I decided to check on my informed delivery if there was something coming as a package. There i saw something from USCIS was arriving on Aug 1. I had the tracking number and everything so I signed up for delivery updates. And it's actually coming today!

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted anything here in a long time, but thought I'd share my own case and updates.

My I-751 was received on 2/11/2020. I'm in SRC processing center, so it's handled locally in Texas.

I got my extension letter on 2/13/2020.

I'm going to mention that I have gone through divorce before filing for I-751, so that maybe makes my case a little bit more complex. I've had a friend who is an immigration attorney help me with the submission and all the documentation.

Today, I received the only update since February that states the following:

"On August 6, 2020, we updated your name for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number SRC...."

I filed everything under my maiden name, but my previous cases and green card are under my married name. I guess this probably means someone has finally started working on my case. I received six text messages notifying me of updates in the last four hours which confuses me a bit. But I guess any progress is good at this point.

Hi Lily. I filed around mid July and today I got the same update. No idea why because I never changed my name or asked USCIS to do so. I'm clueless about the meaning of it. Let me know if you find out something.

At least it means someone is working on it!
