My wife and I sent our package on 2/21 by UPS to the Lewisville lockbox facility and per the tracking information it was delivered on 2/25.  Our check hasn't been cashed yet and we haven't received any e-mail or text.  I suppose it's still a bit early to worry, but the "Proof of Delivery" information looks a little weird to us.  It says the package was "Left At Dock".  What does that mean?  Did anyone who sent their package by UPS/FedEx notice this as well?

We just got a text with the receipt #!  Guess we got worried for no reason, haha.

Thank you! Do you mean that when people say "received" in their timelines here it is not the same as "delivered"?

Yes, I agree with @Efren Gonzalez! It doesn't necessarily means that they received on the same date that it was delivered.

My package was delivered on 02/10 to the PO Box in AZ and my NOA1 says it was received on 02/10 as well.

Thank you, Debbie! I see. I looked at your timeline which says "received". Basically, you can know received date only when you see NOA

Well, then I have to be ready to either recent the package or call them before GC expiration date, because the fact it was delivered is not good enough to breath out.

Sent my package on February 22nd

Delivered February 25th

And I am STILL YET to receive any notification from them!!!

I paid with a Money Order, so I am wondering whether that was a risky way to pay?? I don't think you can even track a money order.

Why does things like this ALWAYS happen to me when I deal with USCIS?? I do everything right, yet my application is always a mystery to them for weeks.

I am sick of this sh*t!

Unless you have no other way of paying, a money order should not really be used.

Do you have a receipt from the place you purchased the money order? You would have them investigate to see if it has been cashed.

Also, how did you mail your package? Did you get a tracking number and did you set up to get notification when it was delivered?

Hello fellow Feb i-751'ers

I have seen people express concerns about getting their driver's license.  This was something I did not think about either.  So I contacted the DMV office, through email (so that it is a written record) and asked them in detail about this process (see my correspondence below).  I will take this email with me to the DMV and I hope that it will alleviate any confusion.

Me: Hello,  I have started the process to have my green card renewed (I-751).  It expires on 5/22/2020.  It will take between 1-1.5 years to receive the new card based on the current processing times at USCIS.  In the meantime, I will receive a letter (Form I-797C) stating that my permanent resident status will be still valid for 18 months, after the current green card has expired, so that I have proof of legal residence.  My DL also expires on 5/22/2020.  What documentation do I need to provide to renew my license while I am in limbo, waiting for my new green card?  Will the letter showing my extension and my expired or expiring green card be enough?  Please advise, thank you?

DMV: With that approval you can get an extension of your DL for 18 months

In my case in AZ , DMV only can provide a driver license for what my green card is valid for , I have my extension letter which extends 18 months after my gc expiration date , I will go to DMV with my gc and extension letter a few days before my gc expires to get my new drivers license , then when I get my 10 year gc will get a new drivers license again.
