If it’s on the drop down menu it’s probably better safe than sorry and upload it there. They might be requiring to submit it now since the rule got implemented on Monday 

Our CR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Will need health insurance info here. What is strange is that I can´t access any health insurance websites from abroad. Trust me, I´ve logged on to every single health insurance website I can think of. Always says the same message: "connection expired".

Hopefully they're allowing people to not have insurance before leaving, so long as they can convince NVC that they will get insurance within 30 days of arrival.

Luckily I'm on Tricare because of my husband's job, but otherwise I'd be pulling my hair out by now trying to access stuff

 

I hope everyone is able to get it sorted! If anyone finds an insurance company that is easy to join for people outside the US (even if you intend on changing after entering), maybe they can share here and we can all help each other out :)

  • April 26 2019: I-824 NOA1 (NBC) (Change from AOS to Consular - mistake on I-130 😭)

  • February 12 2020: Case Received @ NVC (7 days after being sent)
  • February 16 2020: Expedite Request Sent - Financial Hardship
  • March 7 2020: Case Number Created (23 days after NVC receipt)
  • March 7 2020: IV & AOS Fees Paid (Showed as PAID after 4 days)
  • March 13 2020: IV & AOS Docs Submitted
  • March 30 2020: Expedite Request Approved - Conditional (once Embassies resume normal services - COVID19)
  • May 04 2020: Documentarily Qualified
  • July 16 2020: Expedite Request Approved - Unconditional!! 
  • July 31 2020: Medical Done
  • August 6 2020: Interview - APPROVED!
  • August 13 2020: CEAC Status - Issued! 😁

I can’t believe I can finally say this. We just got our DQ email! Submitted documents on 12/23.

Congrats! This is a good update for all of us. I think the latter half of December will have much less cases since it's Christmas and New Year Holidays so the NVC should theoretically make up some time this week.
