Hi anyone know what’s wrong with Nvc I can’t call they just tell go online check info on ceac it’s been two weeks now what’s wrong any idea?

You have to constantly call and hang up right when hear the message start playing, keep calling until you hear a ring, once you hear it ring one bell before the message plays, it will let you hold for a representative... hold for 1-2 hours. Good luck!

Hey guys, 1st Congrats to all who got DQ'ed.

and now I have a question hopefully someone knows the answer. When you resubmit a missing/requested document, does NVC  review ALL the documents again...like the ones that have already been "Accepted"?

I submitted back in November (Everything expect one document was approved), resubmitted the incorrect document on Jan 15 and waiting still.

With all this talk about missing unemployment cover letters and etc my stomach just drops just to think if they open all my approved documents and re-review them again and decide they want more.

I don't think I can handle a 3rd resubmission, my wife would literally lose her mind having to wait 2-3 more months. I. just want them to open the file, look at the resubmitted Doc and DQ.

Ive literally lost sleep over this.

@DeParaquedasBrasi I'm in the same boat. Resubmitted Jan 28. Sick over the possibility of not getting DQ this time (I resigned from my job in Nov expecting this NVC portion to be quick. HAHA!). These forums can be encouraging, but also a bit anxiety-inducing as you see every possible scenario of what could go wrong. Try to trust that they asked for what they needed and pray for DQ this time! Good luck! Definitely a stressful wait.

March 2019: Married, Filed I-130 in April 2019

AOS: Filed June 10, 2020, Received June 13, 2020, Cheque cashed July 16

(I-130 approved in Oct 2019 because we were originally doing consular CR-1 processing)
NOAs July 24 (dated July 17) 2020
Biometrics Jan 7, 2021 (notice dated Dec 12, received Dec 22)
Case updated to 'Interview Scheduled' (Jan 19, 2021, received letter Jan 25)

February 24! Interview! New Card being produced!

Feb 25, 2021: Case approved.

March 1, 2021: Card was mailed

March 4, 2021: Green Card Received! 🥳

March 25, 2021: SSN Application
March 29, 2021: Received SSN

It is a stressful wait indeed - NVC received our case back in November 8th...had to wait two months for a police certificate from Spain. Submitted on the 9th of January and we're still waiting on a reply. But i think, now speaking for all of us here, that it's better to be stuck in NVC purgatory than it is to be at the mercy of the USCIS.

Hard to know what NVC actually does when they review for the second time, but all you really can do is hold hope and confidence. When we had our second submission I had the same worries, “what if they look at it again and decide ‘actually we don’t like this or we want this or that’?” I was worried sick about them looking at my dads birth certificate again (which they accepted the first time around) and deciding they didn’t like it (not sure if it’s a “short form” but definitely doesn’t have a lot of info on it..), but luckily the second time around everything was good and they didn’t change their mind on any previous submitted docs.. so I would just try to hold as much confidence as you can and try to keep the mindset of “if they didn’t like it before they would have said so” and try to take that nothing else was pointed out the first time around as a good sign that everything else should be fine
