Don't do it electronically if you read half of the people got rejected because of it.

Make sure it is hand written signed and date in pen. and print the documents and re uploaded it that way it is not editable.

Thank you

Does this apply for all documents

For example the police clearance is sent to email by the criminal office should I print it then scan or it's okay to directly upload coz it needs no signature.

Want to be completely sure

Hey guys, a better safe than sorry question here:

Woke up to a message off my wife who logged in to CEAC just to check if anything had changed and she got the popup (pictured). I'm fairly certain it was an error but has anyone else had that pop up before?

Cause we unfortunately had to resubmit for a dumb reason (sponsors were under "joint" instead of "household". That's it. The note even said the docs were fine -_-)

But anyways, we resubmitted all of that under petitioner and sponsor names, but left my civil doc submission alone since everything there was approved. So I'm thinking it's a glitch? But wanted to see if anyone else experienced it.

Hello,

I experienced too months ago and I was worried too

It’s gonna stay like that till they review your case don’t worry .

just check on CEAC that everything said “submitted” for your documents .
once they gonna work on you case “action required “will disappear and you will have “At NVC

Hello ,

i think you can upload the police clearance directly . Just be sure for it to be PDF , under 2MB . In color if it’s color and not editable

maybe someone of the VJ family can confirm it 🙂

Hey guys, first off congratulations to all of you getting DQ recently!! 🥳🥳🥳

I submitted all my Docs Feb 15th.
Do you get an email confirmation when you submit?  Because when i use NVC case tracker it says “please submit all documents” but when i login fully it shows submitted. I’m pretty sure it’s all good, But just want to double check i didn’t miss anything. Thanks so much.

Hey Piet&Dan,

No you don't get an email confirmation. And yes, the only info you get is "submitted". You are all good for now.

Cheers.

Thanks! The thing is a little confusing right now since its said "At NVC" since the first review a couple of weeks ago and there's a mix of "accepted" and "submitted" things since the review and the resubmission of things under a different category.

The wait and paranoia gets to you haha

You’re welcome !
I understand this whole process is crazy lol that’s normal don’t worry you will get use to it 🤪

at the first review you were “At NVC” and now you are back at “action required” because you had to submit something again . Your document is waiting on line to be review .
i hope you will not wait to long that time 🤞🍀

And one last follow up! Figured out she got the screencap I posted from this link: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

And based on a search of it, it's not an accurate reflection of things so that's why the panic and confusion!

The PD means priority date . it’s the day USCIS received your I-130 petition and start your process .
according to your PD you can check the processing times and see how long you will have to wait for your NOA2 etc

As you are now at NVC , the important date is when they received  your case , then your documents to have an idea of “when”they gonna review you .

We did have same issue and we filed for  amendments for it to show married filing separately. Unfortunately, it takes several weeks to fix it. Good luck.

Hi guys ,

I need  help .  my husband filled out taxes for 2019 and did so through H&R Block which despite the information given (Married submitting separately) made him single.  he was not able to check before payment and the tax preparer said that everything was ok according to what had been submitted.  We’ve  been talking to them for 3 days and they haven't found a solution.  they did wait  now for information from IRS to request an amendment but it could take weeks.  I was approved by NVC on 23/01 and I am waiting for my IL.  but I probably won't have all the papers at the time of the interview due to their mistake.  has anyone ever had this problem.  ?  I despair .  there is still a problem and after 18 months of waiting already I do not want my visa to be refused or to be in AP for someone else's mistake.  Thanks for your help

We are in the stage of submission for the NVC and my husband is still stating as single and when we ask they said it will take 6 week to make the changes , should we file as single now and ask for adjusting ? I don’t want to wait so long to submit plz help me how did you get approved by him being single?
