Hello,

When I got my case # in mail, I went online and paid both fees (they withdrew money next day from bank). I never chose the agent. It doesn't let me click on option to choose agent. Now, I am reading that you pick agent then pay fee. Is that normal?

Thanks

DS261 for choosing an agent isn't used anymore so no worries

Week 4; since last document was submitted.
When is the best time to call to check if documents have been viewed??? The waiting process 🙄

In my experience calling does not do anything; the people on the phone usually do not have much information to give. Just keep holding on to hope! Ours was 5 weeks for the first submission but then 9 weeks for the second submission. Hopefully yours goes much quicker!

Hey guys, first off congratulations to all of you getting DQ recently!! 🥳🥳🥳

I submitted all my Docs Feb 15th.
Do you get an email confirmation when you submit?  Because when i use NVC case tracker it says “please submit all documents” but when i login fully it shows submitted. I’m pretty sure it’s all good, But just want to double check i didn’t miss anything. Thanks so much.

Case tracker msg will remain the same until your docs are reviewed . When reviewed will say "At Nvc".

Super helpful! It took 26 calls before I got through with an an initial ring. Then I was on hold over an hour (stopped looking at the clock, not sure how long), but the guy was super helpful and gave me an answer in under two minutes.

We are DQ for real!

Yaaay! So glad I could help

Congratulations! 🎉

Onwards and upwards 💙

They do not accept typed names and digital signatures. You're better off printing it, signing (keep the original) and scanning it back in. They also won't accept documents that are editable so printing and scanning back in will get rid of that problem too.

Part 5. 4 My current individual annual income

Should I put 2019 annual income?

Put the income you are expected to make in the next 12 months, at your current pay rate. Do not put 2019 numbers unless this figure has remained the same.

E.g. If you were making $50k in 2019 but lost your job yesterday, technically you are currently making $0 a year and should put that down. Or on the flip slide, if you were making $50k last year but you got a raise recently and now your work contract is $55k, then you put $55k.

Don't do it electronically if you read half of the people got rejected because of it.

Make sure it is hand written signed and date in pen. and print the documents and re uploaded it that way it is not editable.

Hey guys, a better safe than sorry question here:

Woke up to a message off my wife who logged in to CEAC just to check if anything had changed and she got the popup (pictured). I'm fairly certain it was an error but has anyone else had that pop up before?

Cause we unfortunately had to resubmit for a dumb reason (sponsors were under "joint" instead of "household". That's it. The note even said the docs were fine -_-)

But anyways, we resubmitted all of that under petitioner and sponsor names, but left my civil doc submission alone since everything there was approved. So I'm thinking it's a glitch? But wanted to see if anyone else experienced it.
