Omg was just about to message you asking about your request. We requested LAST TUESDAY and still no reply even acknowledging they received it. Maybe someone who recently filed for NVC expedite could give us some pointers?!

Hello everyone,

 

Hope all is well, I just submitted my financial documents at NVC.  When I uploaded my Tax Return Transcript from 2016 - 2018, I combined them on one document or one file. Is there gonna be an issue with that? Does It need to be uploaded individually? Thanks.

i think its that email that we sent and  they do have timeline for that too?  How did you submitted the case to expedite it?

Hello there, we went through the expedite process last month:

Jan 8- Sent Expedite Request

Jan 13- Received acknowledgment email from the NVC saying that they received the request.

Jan 17- Called NVC to see the status of visa, representative said our expedite request was approved Thursday (Jan 16th), no email was received. Representative forwarded case to a supervisor.

Jan 21- Received NVC Expedite approval email saying that our case is being forwarded to the US embassy.

Jan 22- Ceac status: READY.

Sent it to the Expidite email address.. 

 

but wondering how how long it takes for them to respond

i called NVC on a Monday and they advised me they were on Dec 4th week. I was thinking Wow, you all take forever.... still thinking of you!!! Hopefully this week you will hear from them. Has anyone heard a different work week from NVC?

I’m not sure if it will be an issue. I submitted mine separately along with W2. They have additional drop downs to submit each tax info. I hope it doesn’t propose an issue... keep us updated!!! But I’m sure all the Vets on here will let b you know. 🙏🏽🤗 have a good night!!!

I called NVC on Friday, and it took me 1hr 15 mins to get through. Eventually spoke to a very nice lady who assisted and told me soon, I'll be scheduled for an interview.

 

Also went ahead to speak to someone from from the embassy who took my details and assisted me.

 

Yesterday. 11th of February, 2020, I got a mail from NVC for my scheduled interview for the 04th of March,2020.

 

My issue is, since the ban on Nigeria immigrant will take effect on the 21st of February, 2020, will they also issue the visa?

Hey Angel4Love,

I really don't see why they would schedule an interview after Feb21, and once you are there, to tell you : "sorry but no".

Embassy and NVC are well aware of the list of banned countries, so why would they keep the process on.

Anyone knows more about this?
