Hello Everyone,

I have a question, we have sent the whole thing to NVC on Feb 3rd.

I am wondering why under "IV Application" there is still a "completed" instead of a "submitted".

Is this normal?

Thank you :)

Alix

Mine looks also like that. I submitted everything on Feb 1st and added a translation on  Feb 4th just to be on the safe side. I see we have a very similar timeline since the start! I've been checking to see if something changes in my ceac ,  but I guess this will remain like this until the case is DQ in about two months.... anyone knows?

Guys and this rule ??

B565DB6E-1916-42F2-805F-C30ACE1230D6.png

if you click the link in there for the up to date info it states:

"A nationwide temporary restraining order has been issued by the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon halting implementation of P.P. 9945 Suspension of Entry to Immigrants Who Will Financially Burden the United States Healthcare System. Please monitor this page for updates."

Nothing has happened with this. It is not in effect.

I downloaded my Proof of Insurance coverage today, this same policy will cover my spouse and I will submit it with my documentation, just in case.

Better safe than sorry. I also did the same.. though i didn't upload it with the IV docs for my husband, I planned to have him provide the letter at his interview.

Hey Cristina,

Yes we have the same timeline 😉

Lily has replied. It is normal for the IV Application to remain as "completed". We are all good for now...

Fingers crossed :)

New day, new questions :)

Filling out the DS-260 and OMG... I got logged out so many times filling out the address portion!

1) Which address should the GC be mailed? My current address (overseas) or the US address of where I will live?

2) They ask: "Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S. with you?"

I am the spouse and I am a US citizen. I can´t immigrate to the US so I think I should put NO. But I am GOING to the US with my husband... so I don´t want them thinking that I´m not GOING...

Thanks everyone!

Sorry, I don´t know the answer to your tax question. Maybe you can ask in another forum - or start a new topic. Someone must know :)

1) US; how will your spouse get their green card after they enter the US if it is sent overseas? 🤪

2) No, that’s only for if the beneficiary’s spouse is not a US citizen or LPR already and immigrating with the beneficiary
