just hope they will not say that they need additional time to review the questionnaire 😕

ahhhhhh, poise!! I the petitioner lives in Brazil still then obviously you'll have a joint sponsor......so maybe the joint sponsor can send a letter for you to take to the interview explaining how they'll help cover insurance until your spouse find a job. Im not 100% sure, but that's what I'd do.......especially since we all don't really know much about this new STUPID rule.

It's very subjective. Even though the sponsor has agreed to backup the applicant's insurance & cost of living in the USA, if they can see the applicant has no asset/income but relying on income source from relative or local govt, they can still deny for the visa.

@Mr & Mrs T  Obviously I don't know anything either -- but might be smart to also bring some sort of 3rd party evidence of your assets?  (Vehicle registration, Bank statements,  etc.)?

I have a vehicle but she is 10years old but she is registered under my name in France .

 and if I show them my bank statements they gonna laugh .. they gonna have what I can provide . 
honestly I am sick and tired of that ..

at few days of the interview I didn’t thought I will have to rush and prepare another form and evidence ..

I just called the healthcare.gov customer service to ask if there is anything we can get to prove my husband will be able to get insurance once he gets here. I tried to apply on there a couple days ago but of course since he is not a resident yet he was not eligible; but will be once he arrives. We got a letter when we applied stating his eligibility and what he can show to prove that he is eligible (aka a green card or I551 stamp). The customer service rep suggested he use that to show proof he has tried to apply for insurance. Didn’t even think of that! We will keep trying and looking for insurance but I think it’s definitely a good idea in terms of showing attempts to apply were made

Part 9 of the questioner says "

9. List the assets available to you in the table below. For example, cash assets may include checking and savings accounts, etc. Non-cash assets may include equity in real estate, annuities, securities, etc."

Given that it says "Assets *available* to you", Im assuming it means either assets from the petitioner or joint sponsor.

To be honest this questioner isn't very well played out in my opinion.
