Hello everyone! My husband went to his interview today. We had a problem with the I-864. We made a mistake by putting my name as the sponsor, it was supposed to be my father. Make sure you have all your documents and everything is correct. Have multiple people look at it just in case you miss something. Thank god we were lucky enough to find a open interview on Thursday. All the other months were booked. Keep us in your prayers. Hoping the best for everyone.

What kind of questions did they ask?

Got into the US yesterday with my husband. Finally together!!! I want to use this medium to say thank you to everyone who has been of help one way or the other and to visa journey community as a whole, most importantly the advise to file 129f if we had not done that we would have been waiting for approval for May this year. Am so thankful to God for the way everything went. I pray for all those affected by this ban that it will be lifted soon and it will all end in praise don’t lose hope. Wish you all the very best.❤️

@reashamoriba Sorry for the late reply. My husband came across a female interviewer who wasn’t very nice at all. He was asked more then 10 questions. She asked questions like who is your sponsor? How many children do you and your wife have? When was the last time you seen your wife? What date did you and your wife first meet? When did you get married? Sorry my husband forgot the other questions. There are interview questions online you can look over. I’ll add some of the links for you. Just make sure your prepared. Make sure you have the documents please and everything is uploaded to the ceac website. We realized that some interviewers don’t approve the visa until the documents are seen by them. My friend husband was missing documents but he had a nice interviewer and still approved him. He will just take the missing documents with him when he go pick up the visa. My husband had to go back and make an appointment online before getting approved. We were lucky to find one. Currently there is NO appointments available now. This is why I’m saying please make sure your not missing any paperwork. Also my friends husband medical exams was not given to him by paper. I think they have a new policy now where they will send the medical exam to the US embassy electrically. If you can get it in person is much better that way because you don’t know how long it’s going to take them. They still haven’t sent my friends. They are now telling him to bring the medical exam.

Here are the links my husband was using to prepare for the interview

Hi everyone, I emailed our consulate this morning to ask if they are requiring DS5540 at interviews even for those DQ before Feb 24 and they are requiring it now. I would contact your consulate to find out as well and/or bring the form with you just in case.
