My husband was approved however the trump ban is in full effect and though his passport was kept to be stamped he got a white letter and was told it was because of the ban that he wouldn’t get it back right away. People who were denied got blue letters. This is so sad but hopefully soon the ban will be lifted and his passport will be given.

thats sad to see with all the journey & it comes does to this. But keep your hopes up. Ban will be lifted!!!

Go straight to the address the interviewer gave you and pick up your passport. I didn’t get any notification either and I have picked up mine.

Thank you! I was hoping he’d be coming home with me after my visit here but hey, he’ll be home soon. Just a little more time and patience.

It doesn’t say he did, the slip basically says waiver is pending. They told him he’d receive an email to pick up his passport.

Thank you. No package. I simply told him to ask about a waiver should they bring up the ban. They brought up the travel ban and he asked but it seems they are automatically considering people for the waiver involuntarily because a lot of people got the same white letter he did regarding a waiver. 
 

I don’t really know what they asked. I’ve been so sick in naija with fever and after standing outside the embassy 6 hours in the blistering sun (because they don’t give US citizens any place to sit and we can’t attend the interview with our spouse) I just wanted to go home and didn’t ask him much. He did say they didn’t ask for any of his documents except birth certificate.

Ok good thanks for the  information, was there any update as to pick up on ur ceac status? Becouse mine keep saying depending on the local procedure where ur interview took place passport will be mail soon.

Go to visa center and pick it up. No one is going to notify you.
