I'm seriously sad, they are requesting for joint sponsor while NVC didn't request for anything and even she has her assets listed in her i-864 but at the interview i got a different answer.

If they asked for a joint sponsor, then give them what they want......that is always the path of least resistance.

The only person willing to be a sponsor says he wants a letter from a lawyer saying that he won't be responsible for me once I'm in the USA. Is that possible?

Nope.  He would be responsible for several years at least.

I see no other option other than finding another joint sponsor.

Im so glad we finally were approved. We started this process august 2018.  I feel the interview was the easiest part. My interview was in Spanish (they didn’t ask what language I wanted for the interview) and they only asked me how long have we been married, how we met and when, when did we meet in person  for the first time, and how many times have we seen each other since then. That was all! :D very happy.  I just forgot to give them my passport pictures, I hope that’s not a problem, but they didn’t ask for them either.

We where asked to book a interview but everytime we go to book it says no appointments available. Anyone know when appointments are usually available for Accra?

I had this issue too this morning For France .
If it’s like the French website , when you received the IL from NVC and you have “Appointment not ready to schedule”on the website “it’s an error or they didn’t update your status on their side .

you can email the address they provide with the info’s they ask  ( for France it’s
fae_contactus+fr+ivcasenumber+en@visaops.net)

so there is probably or the same address or something equal on the website where you book your appointment 🙂
they answered me Within just few hours when officially it’s 3/4 business days .
you can try that and then book your appointment .
