This attestation, is it not the age declaration affidavit from the high court in order to get birth certificate from NPC?

Yes that's what it is. Some like my husband went to NP with that to get Birth certificate. We just wanted to get what NVC and Embassy liked plus if he needed it here.

@dwheels76

So my consulate in Manama had asked me to upload everything to the ceac website before the date of the interview.

This doesnt mean I ll have to re-upload all the initial docs like birth certificate and all that again right? I already uploaded these while the case was at NVC. My consulate was jus referring to any extra docs, if so, right?

They are giving you instructions like you never did anything. Remember some people are expedited and have not done anything. They just want to be sure you have everything ready for them.
Let them know everything is uploaded and you are ready for your interview.

My husband lives in Lagos but his birth certificate is from Ondo state, must he go back to Ondo state to get the NPC or he can get that done in Lagos, Our interview is this month. This is what we have with us.

Very important question!

My wife’s interview is in early March. I got a new job in January and I also filled my 2019 tax returns which means I have to bring an updated I-864 to the interview. My question is should I fill out the current affidavit of support form or should I wait for the new form after February 24th?

Thanks!

I want to be sure I understand you, are you saying he doesn't have to get the NPC?

Yea, since he has a government issued birth cert when he was born. No need to get attestation again.

Mine was issued by the hospital so it was not accepted when i was about to book the the date for my wedding at the court. That was how i found out about the difference between the government issued and the hospital issued birth cert...

Thank God. Please what birth certificate did you use? I'm confused. I have attestation of birth letter from NPC and age declaration from high court. Latest news on consulate review that they are asking for birth certificate from NPC

My birth certificate was from NPC already. I know she asked for something from NPC but I told her my certificate was from NPC, so she didn’t bother
