In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

So 1st article: 48 guilty - 52 not guilty. Trump formally acquitted there.

They never really had a chance of getting 67 guilty votes on either article.  That's another reason Romney will not be popular in his own party.

Impeachment and the Senate trial is officially adjourned and over, until the next one. 

 

Needed to get 67 Guilty votes (2/3 of the Senate) for conviction/removal.

 

Article 1: 48-52

Article 2: 47-53

 

Romney being the only change in those.

 

Chief Justice Roberts looks like he got emotional there in his farewell. Clearly trying times in American history.
