Do we get this with the NOA1?

Yes your MSC numbers 3 each if you submitted  all the forms. You will get 3 letters from NBC each with   one MSC number. If you requested to be notified by email or text they will also send the numbers that way also, but it'####### and miss they don't always send the text or email even though you requested it.

The case numbers are what matter. Do you honestly think your Uncle Sam won't get his money? Don't worry about the money it WILL get taken, remember today is a bank holiday.

Thank you Sarge for your reply

The reason I concern about USCIS got the payment or no because of my bank card was cancelled yesterday by the bank

due to unusual activities found, and I saw the payment to USCIS still showing "processing"

some ppl said USCIS will create case number first then cash the money out.

thats why I keep concerning if USCIS will get the money or no.... but it is clear now.

I see I'd  be on the phone first  thing tomorrow and inform the bank of that DHS  pending charge. Let them know it's a valid transaction.

Hello everyone,

I'm a little nervous. I just sent off my husband AOS packet and it should be delivered by Wednesday. We had to wait a long time to get my cosponsor letter from employer. His I-94 expires on Monday and we're nervous that his status will be illegal or that they won't open and document the application on time. Any thoughts? Are we going to be okay?

They will use the post mark of FEDEX, UPS or USPS whichever service  you use.  As far as the I-94 it won't  matter if it is expired they just want to see what kind of entry it was. You'll  be fine. The important thing is you filed.

The new forms can not be used  prior to the 24th. Why would you want to use the new forms? Perhaps you better look at the new I-944 form!

"The final rule will apply only to applications and petitions postmarked (or if applicable, submitted electronically) on or after Feb. 24, 2020."

Hi @Sarge2155 do you know if they meant the deadline above is the submission with all civil doc as well? I want to submit the old I864 AOS  & DS260 by Feb 24, but yet uploading documents in next few weeks.

It means that on the 24th they will not accept any of the old forms (I-485) whether you file electronically or mail them in. If you do  use them on the 24th they will reject the entire packet.

I haven't! Still trying to compile it all. Definitely going to read over this forum because I have a few questions, and might try and submit by the end of the week!

What date is considered the postmarked date?

Awesome, I will spend the next few days getting all of my things together. Thank you so much, Sarge!

I also have questions regarding the "Recent Immigration History" part of the form (photo attached):

  • Am I to fill this section out? I am not sure what my travel document number or nonimmigrant visa number is.
  • For the question that states, "When I last arrived in the United States..." was I right to check the first box and put K1?

Thank you!!!

So far looking good. The information you are looking for is on your passport. The passport Number is usually easily visible on your passport Biographic page, while the Non-immigrant Visa number is found on the Visa page. It is usually the number on the bottom right corner. It is not the control number. You were inspected when you came in and entered on the K1, so looks good. Make sure to put the city where you entered through and the expiration date on your passport and not the Visa. @klgck

Thank you, @Verteres, his was very helpful! To confirm, do I leave travel document number blank? As for the NIV number, I see it on my Visa and it is in a red text, so hopefully that is the right number haha. Also, I entered through Buffalo, NY but live in Philadelphia, PA - so I put Buffalo as my last arrival place.

Edit: ah, I answered my own question - I do leave travel document blank! The stress is getting to me hahah.
