Congrats! Our timelines looks oddly similar, and looking through @ourwildjourney timeline we are exactly the same...

I-765 received: 2/21

Original Biometrics: 3/24

Do you think calling them helped push it along. Did the text come after you told USCIS what your issue was on the phone or was it before on hold while you were waiting to talk to someone. Maybe calling them and giving them a little push is the way to go.

Congratulations

I have no reason for thinking that other than there would be military approved fingerprints on file.  It was kind of a thought of "If I were working there how could I get fingerprint I trust". No clue if they are that coordinated.

Non-miltiary here, our EAD was approved yesterday with no biometrics. I believe they are waiving them.

No offense, but I’m not really comfortable uploading any of these docs here and redacting the letter sounds too complicated - but I promise you that’s where they assigned me lol why? I have no clue! I asked the lawyers when they informed me today, but they just brushed the question. Trust me, I would way rather do it here as opposed to driving 11 hours and wasting 3 days.

Looking at my timeline, the petition was filed 02/20 and my case tracker show receipt of notice on 02/21.

Cheers! When you say approved do you mean actually producing the card? Because that's different.

I haven’t received any biometrics appointment letter yet. And I saw on a Facebook group that an April filer from Washington already got one. It’s nice to see that they’re finally sending out letters. I’m just really hoping I’ll get mine soon since it can get really frustrating 😅. Also for everyone who’s still waiting, hoping we’ll receive ours soon.

Stay safe everyone. ♥️

It hasn't changed to the  "producing card" status yet, I believe that takes a week or so after the approval (perhaps longer with current delays), however I got a status change on USCIS saying my EAD had been approved with a notice being sent to me.

Gotcha. The USCIS rep we spoke to was specifically able to tell us that the biometrics were "bypassed" and card would go into production, but yeah I don't see that status online anywhere.

@Amaterasu @fromsweden

I'm confused mines went the other way around. From "New Card being Produced" on July 2nd to "Case Approved" on July 7th. Either way I'm anxiously awaiting my husband's EAD

Those of you who used the case tracker app... do you know what system it feeds from? In the past when I used it for the K-1 visa I found it to lag behind the USCIS website. There was NEVER a time it updated me BEFORE uscis.gov did, so I ended up deleting the app and just using uscis.gov ...are you all getting updated fast with the case tracker app?

Perhaps I completely missed the "New Card being Produced" status update.

I hadn't set up a case tracker because I was convinced we were blocked until biometrics appointment. Mine was just that I happened to check manually and saw it had changed.

Same here. First "New card being produced", then "Case Approved".

It's been 18 days since "Case Approved" and no movement (((

I did biometrics back in March.

Sorry if I am asking so many questions. How did you get the SSN without the other these other things approved?  Is that a separate application?  We were thinking the SSN was part of this whole processs.  Yikes!

i applied for ssn separately, a few days after arrival, around first week of feb. then DL, then AOS (sent feb 18). however, my k2 is not allowed for SSN yet so we applied for his as part of the AOS process. either way can be done. i could not work anyway since i am not yet authorized to work even with ssn on-hand until today. LOL
