You can't search for your individual case on the OPT website. But if you go down to the bottom, and click on the tab "Shipping Status" (next to the tab "By Receipt Date"), it will pull up information on the EAD cards being shipped. You can see what approval dates they are working on, and which have been sent out over the past week.

Hope this helps.

Here is the current graph:

we almost have similar timelines. Mine was mailed on 07/13

I didn't get a tracking number, did you?

No not yet, I hope to get that information today/tomorrow. Good luck, lets hope that USPS doesn't lose it. My nervousness will not go away until I physically have the card in my hand!!

Hi! We’re on the same boat again (got RFE the same time) lol. My status changed to “New Card is being produced” on June 29 and “Case Was Approved” on June 30.

I received the approval notice in the mail on July  7. Received my updated SSN card on July 13. But so far no update about the combo card being mailed. Hoping we get it next week.

Wow I got my notice on the 11th! I pray my SSN comes that quick also. I have looked online and realized my husband would need both his EAD and SSN in order to work, because employers would need both to fill out an I-9 form (I guess to the government) in order for the immigrants to work. The EAD alone would not suffice 😞

@TandClaudia @Ihatebaseboards did your status online change to "waiting to be rescheduled" after the cancellation?

I queried the online status of near 20K receipt numbers near my receipt numbers a couple of days ago, and I never saw such a message.

It's likely to send biometric appointment letters without status update or likely not to send them yet.

Congratulations! Did you get text/email notifications or you found out on the website?

For the EAD I actually found out via the case tracker app and I received an email. The advanced parole was via the case tracker app.

I had an RFE for our AOS, to which we quickly responded. The status on our AOS is that the RFE was received, but will it necessarily affect the processing of the EAD and AP?

The status on the EAD and AP just still say it was received. We filed on February 20, and our NOA1 is March 24th.

So I keep checking on the basis that other late Feb filers are getting their documents. But I wondered if because our AOS had an RFE, that the other cards might come later than normal.

Our timelines are similar i guess.

Filed 2/24 and Responded to an RFE on the AOS on 6/09, with a “missing 2018 tax return” which i was so SURE i included.

36 days later still no news..

Interesting. I wonder why we also didn't get NOA1s until March. Mine came really late I thought, and I wondered if it was cause the AOS became an RFE. You'll have to let me know if you hear something and I'll do the same for you.

Thanks! You can follow shipment of EAD cards on https://opttimeline.com/

Even though this is a website for optional piratical training (OPT) EADs, the shipping status corresponds with approval dates of EADs from AOS as well.

Wow this will be helpful. Thank you!

I’m sure the SSN will come soon. I honestly did not expect it to come before the combo card because I thought the combo card will come first but it seems that due to slowed down printing the SSN came first.

I hope your husband get his cards soon and everyone of us here. Keep us updated. I’ll update too if I get any new update.

I just checked the USCIS website and we got approved for our EAD no biometrics taken!

This might be some good news for people who just missed the deadline. Hopefully you guys get some good news this week also. @TandClaudia @Ihatebaseboards

I’ve noticed that the only current 3 EAD I’ve heard of being approved without biometrics were of people from the UK (2) and Ireland (1). I’m hoping this is not a pattern where Anglo-Saxon countries are given special consideration. What do you guys think?

I hope that's not the case for the sake of others on here. There might be some special information sharing agreement between the governments of those countries however.

I guess these next few weeks will tell if we start to see others approved without having done biometrics. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see them.

I'm assuming I'll need to have them taken at some point for the Green Card, so it makes sense to approve EADs knowing that there will be biometrics taken at some point... perhaps?
