Can someone help please. We went to the social security office on 1/22 (its been 3 weeks) and we still haven’t gotten the ssn. Has anyone came across this ?

It took us 5 weeks to get ours, give it awhile longer. You do have the receipt that you applied right.

Hi

I just got email from my BOA accout said my credit card was used online and it is CHICAGO LOCKBOX-WASHINGTON,DC

they took USD1225 and USD750 for me and my son, does it mean USCIS lockbox took my money accepted my case already?

Yes a good indication your numbers should be following shortly.

Welcome to the thread! You did not file the I-131 or the I-765? There is no additional charge when you file all together with the I-485!

Finally putting my AOS packet in the mail tomorrow.   I know that I'm super late, but the last 3 months have been rough.

My Journey:

  • Claudia arrived on 8/31/2019
  • My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on 10/15/2019
  • Claudia and I got married on 11/1
  • My Mother had a debilitating  stroke on 11/19
  • My Mother passed away on 12/3

Between paying for wedding, funeral, burial, and everything else associated with her final needs, I'm just now able to write is $1,225 check.

We have her social security card in hand, and we were able to set up a joint bank account, so that's a ggod thing.

Hey I wondered where  you were! Sorry about all the  issues and the passing of your mother. Hopefully you can re focus. Be sure to get your  packet in by 24th February though. I'm hoping things will smooth out for you now.

Thanks Sarge.  I hope everything is going well for you and the Mrs.

I'm scanning a copy of my entire packet tomorrow and mailing it after work.  I had everything ready to go on December 3rd, and then everything fell apart.

#######....I just read that info about the "Public Charge."  That's gonna create a HUGE mess.  Thanks for the heads up.  I'll keep everyone posted.

@Cyndy&Onyi and others, when filing 485, 765, and 131, did you submit 2 photos only or two for each forms?

Kindly let me know. Planning to submit our docs today.
