Don’t be irritated by other people getting lucky in some parts of this whole process. We filed our K1 visa before you did and had a much longer waiting process To getting that approved than you did.  The fact that we got lucky with the aos doesn’t mean there weren’t issues in the beginning of the process. Being away from each other miles apart while waiting for the K1 visa noa2 .... I would’ve much rather had that wait shortened any day over having a quick noa2 on the AOS

Just be positive and good things will come.

We are happy with your success but the post is a bit off-putting and misleading considering that this particular thread is SPECIFICALLY for FEBRUARY FILERS :)

I have. It came in the mail on Monday March 30th. It's an RFE regarding submitting an affidavit of support I-864 form. The strange thing is that I already submitted it with all supporting documents, when I filed the AOS, EAD, and Advanced Parole on 2/5/2020. I'm guessing they lost it??? 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️ I'm just going to try my best to complete it and have it sent out by next monday. I have not filed my taxes for 2019 yet so 2018 returns with 2019 W2s will have to do for now. Ideally this week would've been better but work has been very busy. I'll keep you posted.

Finally Submitted my RFE. I realized they didn't lose my I-864 after all. I accidentally submitted the I-134 Affidavit of Support instead of the I-864, silly me 🤦🏿‍♀️. So happy they didn't reject me based off of that error. I submitted it April 6th and they receieved it April 8th. My case statuse changed this morning to "Request for Evidence Received". So time for my husband and I to wait for a notification for approval and interview.

I am happy to see so many interviews in our group. That's promising! My husband and I are more concerned about his EAD, although having the green card would be helpful with so many things, who knows when these offices will reopen 🤷🏿‍♀️. At least the EAD approval would mitigate the wait for AOS. I guess we'll see. Congrats to everyone again!

Yes! I am the same as you - EAD is my #1 concern right now. Wishing you a speedy approval

Exactly! If we at least had that EAD it wouldn't matter too much how long it takes to interview. However, considering they are processing the AOS fairly quickly for our group, then we'll see. Whichever one comes first I guess.

It's not time to worry. The offices are either closed or running on minimal staffing in which case you'll need a little more patience and your case will be finished. Since you have had your biometrics you are on the better side of the process. Good luck and be safe.

Hello everyone! We got RFE for the I485 because I missed filling out some parts of the form (my bad 😅) but anyway, we responded to it already and on April 7, I got an update on myusicis that they received it and they will be working on our case again (We sent the response on April 2).

So back to waiting for the result. However, my pregnant anxious, overthinking mind is bothering me with the idea that what if there is something they needed again on the I485. Will we get a rejection this time or will they just send another RFE

Just to add, with the response we sent, aside from me making sure that the form is properly filled out this time, we also updated the tax documents there by including the 2019 tax return where hubby and I filed jointly and also an updated employment certificate from his work (we sent an old employment certificate before).

If you’re still reading til here. Thanks so much! And hope everyone are safe.

Reposting because I put the wrong form and can’t edit the original post anymore. Sorry mods. 😅 I meant I864 not I485. ✌🏻

Consider looking at our timeline. We filed our AOS on February 5, 2020.

Technically folks this thread is for anyone to share knowledge and learn from.  You don't  technically have to be a February filer. The February 2020 filer name is just a place where like minded filers i.e., those that filed the same month can gather as things and forms sometimes change from month to month. All are welcomed!

My same fear but I pray we'll be ok! 👍🏿😎 I used a  I-864 checklist and checked it twice a long with the guidelines in the RFE. The household size was a bit confusing but considering there is only me and my husband I figured not to count him twice and just put the 2 of us. I was so paranoid that I hurried and file 2019 taxes so I could include the return with the application, hopefully it helps.
