February 2020 AOS Filers

Actually it isn't needed, whenever I talked with USCIS on the phone I was given a explanation that it isn't required anymore. I was told the copies of my wifes passport pages would suffice. 

 

But it's also good to call and confirm again!

Yes! We went over all of the packets last night with a checklist. I did have one question- my fiance did not get his immunizations when he did the medical portion for the K1 so we did them here instead at a civil surgeon. They gave me a sealed envelop with the I'm guessing the paperwork we need for the AOS, but they said to not open it and submit it in the sealed envelop. Does that sound necessary? It's killing me that I can't check and make sure everything in the envelop is completed correctly.

Yes  it is supposed to be  sealed  that's correct.

Its important you dont open it, the medical has a chain of custody which they dont want people tampering with.

That's  correct if you open it you are done at least for that medical!

Update! Sent our AOS on January 29 and got text notifications from USCIS that they received it on February 11. Just waiting for the Official Receipt Notice in mail now. Thanks for the help everyone! Hopefully it will be smooth for everyone here.

Going to send off my applications later this afternoon with UPS it is great to be on the next step of the process but not looking forward to that waiting game again haha.
