Hello guys!

I am currently Army Active Duty and I’m sponsoring my wife (she is South Korean). We’ve have received correspondence from USCIS requesting for evidence. USCIS is requesting a joint sponsor because my income does not meet 125% of my household size. When I originally filed last month, I listed my grandfather and mother on my household list. Two weeks after filing my grandfather passed away and my mother decided to move back to her hometown.  Now that my household size is different than originally filed, how do I amend my household size?

You would have to file a new I-864. Also as active duty military you only need to make a 100%.

Mail my package out on 02/03/2020 by USPS. Delivered on 02/05/2020. Received e-notification by text on 02/12/2020.

Now waiting for the NOA letter and biometrics letter.

Did my biometrics on 03/06/2020 because Orlando Office does not allow early walkin, the status changed on the same day.
23 hours ago my i485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview. It’s really unbelievable!

I just checked my case status online for AOS, it changed from saying the fingerprints were taken to RFE, so I'm gonna be walking to the mailbox promptly to figure out what's going on 🤔

I'm glad they are still processing things at least 😌

hi guys,

last week i got my biometrics appointment letter, with an appointment date of March 31st in Atlanta. Since all in person appointments at USCIS are suspended due to the pandemic I was surprised to get that appointment now, and was fully expecting to get another letter this week telling me that the appointment is cancelled, but this hasn't happened. As of today the website continues to say that no in person appointments are currently possible, and it says that if their office is closed due to some unforseen event (I suppose a pandemic would count) then I am not to do anything and they will reschedule. Still, I'm worried that for some reason they expect me to show up there on Tuesday and a no show could have bad consequences. But Atlanta is far, and a trip only to stand in front of a locked door would be hard for us. Can anyone ease my mind that they really do not expect me to show up there for biometrics at the moment, no matter what their letter says? Or is there any merit in trying to go anyway do you think? Thank you for your advice!!!

Case status for aos just changed to interview ready. Can’t believe we got this notice months earlier than expected. Is this really real? Did anyone else get it?

Have you received any news about this?

Claudia's Biometrics are scheduled for today.  I think the USCIS offices are still closed.  I'll post an update as soon as I find something out.

Check the notice date in your appointment letter. I bet that's before they closed all their offices because of covid-19. And yes, they expect you not to show up on that appointment. They will send you another letter with the new date once they are cleared for face-to-face processes.
