== UPDATE ===

3/25/2020 : Received a notice letter from USCIS with regards to my I-131 (AP) Biometrics appointment to inform that

USCIS is able to reuse my previously captured(Assume I-485 & I-765) fingerprints and other biometrics.
USCIS will run the security checks and use my biometric data as in the

Received the notice too that FP is not needed for I131 now that we did the I485 biometrics.

Woohoo!!!!

Hey everyone!

I'm wondering if anyone knows how they will proceed with cases that require biometrics but have been caught in the COVID shutdown. Originally my appointment was set to March 13th but I had to reschedule due to my spouse traveling that day (and thus not being able to make it to the USCIS center). The appointment was then rescheduled to April 3rd but now with the closures that's likely to be rescheduled again.

I'm guessing I know the answer but does this mean that the processing timeline is basically halted until the biometrics are taken, or is it possible that USCIS will proceed with the case and then complete once they reopen and biometrics can be taken? I was looking forward to being able to work and feel like a functioning human being in society (provided that finding a job is possible in this current climate).

Hope everyone here is keeping safe and well!

‘Sup Kabayans! 😂

i have USPS informed delivery on, and i have received an E-mail showing that USCIS sent me my Biometrics appointment last week Monday.. unfortunately it still has not arrived yet, and probably got lost in the mail.. ☹️

Had to wait a few days (30 days since they received my application) ‘til i could file a case inquiry of “Non delivery of notice” at the USCIS website. (They don’t accept any case inquiries that are less than 30 days old) they responded today via e-mail saying that my AOS application is pending interview.. but nothing about the missing notices in the mail 🤔

Kabayan, kumusta? ☺️

Pending interview is good news! I’m a bit confused how it skipped biometrics? I hope you get these notices soon as these are important.

I just turned informed delivery yesterday after I read about it on here. Still didn’t get the I-131 NOA1. I submitted a non delivery notice also but haven’t heard from them. As for my biometrics, @chxakx informed me of the ASC closing due to Covid-19. So I’d have to wait for another notice for the new schedule. 😓

I hope so but waiting too for my ead. They lost my ead. No txt or email notification so I sent it again last week.

Did you receive at least a txt notification for your 131?

Thanks Sarge and David,

I have one more question. Do I need all new forms or just the ones that are outdated?

Just the outdated ones.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Mabuti! Sana kayo rin.

I was expecting they would be along the lines of “awaiting fingerprints” so I’m quite puzzled as well.. 🤔

I did get a call from the local post office informing me that they are figuring out where my Notices went. They have instructed me to wait another week.

🙃 I guess that’s all i could do!

What Sarge is correct, but if I was you, I would update the I-765 form to the newest version as well. They say that they will accept the old version until 4/20/2020, but who knows what they are going to do and if they are even going to look at your application before then. So just do the newest version - you don't want another rejected application!

Personally, I printed all the forms again so that I could have updated signatures/dates as well, but that was probably not necessary. I did not reprint my supporting documents though.

Concurrent I-485/I-130/I-765/I-131 Filing (married to USC spouse):

2/23/2020: Sent in application via FedEx (following rules before new Public Charge rule)

2/25/2020: Arrived in Chicago, IL
3/13/2020: Packaged received in return and rejected due to "outdated forms"
3/24/2020: Refiled application with new forms including I-944
3/25/2020: Arrived in Chicago, IL (received by Harper)

4/13/2020: Received 4 late-night texts with case numbers
4/14/2020: Application fee withdrawn from my bank account

4/17/2020: Received hard copies of Receipt NOAs (I-797Cs)
4/17/2020: Requested EAD expedite
4/20/2020: EAD expedite request denied: Case in "in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics" +  did not provide evidence of "extreme emergent need"
8/1/2020: Received biometrics appointment notice (for I-485 and I-765)
8/11/2020: Biometrics appointment at the ASC in Sacramento, CA

8/12/2020: Online case status for I-485 and I-765 updated to "fingerprints related to ... have been applied to your case"

8/17/2020: Online case status for I-131 updated to "fingerprints related to ... have been applied to your case"

8/18/2020: Online case status for I-485 updated to "we are ready to schedule your ... for an interview"

9/4/2020: Online case status for I-765 updated to "New card is being produced"

9/8/2020: Online case status for I-765 updated to "Case was approved"

9/8/2020: Online case status for I-131 updated to "Case was approved"
9/10/2020: Online case status for I-765 updated to "Card was mailed to me"

9/12/2020: Received I-797 Notice of Action (approval notice) for I-765 and I-131
9/14/2020: Received my combo EAD card (work authorization and advanced parole)
8/13/2021: Filed renewal application for both I-131 and I-765
11/9/2021: Filed expedite request for both I-131 due to sick father in Norway
12/15/2021: Received email from USCIS for supportive documents (after multiple calls)
12/17/2021: Sent in supportive documents (letter from doctor, hospital appointment notices ++)
12/22/2021: Status changed to "card being produced" (letter on MyUSCIS.com confirms this will be a combo card)

I can't see the previous version in the site now. It's now 12/26/19 version which is the one that they will accept from 04/20. So better use that.

When I was redoing my I765 last week, no dec version yet so i used the old one.

Hello guys!

I am currently Army Active Duty and I’m sponsoring my wife (she is South Korean). We’ve have received correspondence from USCIS requesting for evidence. USCIS is requesting a joint sponsor because my income does not meet 125% of my household size. When I originally filed last month, I listed my grandfather and mother on my household list. Two weeks after filing my grandfather passed away and my mother decided to move back to her hometown.  Now that my household size is different than originally filed, how do I amend my household size?
