How does one call USCIS to ask them and inform them that i never got my NOA1 in the mail? I have USPS informed delivery on, and i was scheduled to receive the fingerprint appointments yesterday, but it is still nowhere to be found.

i’ve called my local post office and they said i should wait atleast 5 days.. which i found odd since I received all my mail (addressed to my husband, the NOA1 was addressed to me) except my hard copies.

Do you know how much this in-person / no biometrics hold will slow things down?  By this I mean, is biometric the first thing they need to get the ball rolling and nothing starts until that is in?  Or can they be working on and evaluating other aspects of the application without biometrics? Does customs say "First we get the biometrics and then we start the whole process" or do they say "biometrics is one aspect.  Without biometrics, we still can be evaluating your application and your finances, etc etc" ??

Sorry to say biometrics usually happens first before any other aspect of your AOS  case. They need biometrics first. But who knows  how and if they will adjust the way they do things.  I would not put it past USCIS to put those cases needing biometrics on hold until the fingerprints are taken. All I can say is brace for the worst.

Claudia’s biometrics appointment is at a DHS office, so I’m assuming that’s the same thing?

Do you mean ASC center? All face to face actions have been canceled  everywhere throughout USCIS!

Did biometrics today in Bartlett, TN. If you changed your name after marriage, bring your marriage license with you. Luckily I had a picture of it in my phone. Ugh. Had to wait outside for about half an hour. They won’t let you in earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment. The whole thing took about 40 minutes

Whew, that was a long wait. But luckily for us, we are done before they released the memo.

Now I remember that we didn't include a copy of DS-3025. Will we get a RFE for it?

They will send you a courtesy letter stating you need a medical before your interview.

Hello guys, I have a question

We submitted our application on 11th Feb 2020 (priority date is 12th of Feb - Married to USC). As of 2018, my sponsor (wife) total income is $10,000 (Very low) but her 2019 income is $50,000 which we filed in Feb 2020 and we submitted her W2 and tax return for the year 2019.

I read where someone said USCIS will only look at the 2018 return if you file in Feb2020. Is it true? What about her 2019 that is above the poverty guideline for 2 people?..

We just received an I797C in the mail today.  They rescheduled our biometrics appointment to 3/31/2020.  Fingers crossed.

They care about current income over everything. Plenty of people in previous months/years threads file later in the calendar year before the filing period for that year has even opened, but then they'll get an RFE in the new year because their case was processed after the filing period had opened and they want the newest tax returns. I would not worry about sending a 2019 tax return and being expected to send a 2018 return instead, you may be asked for an IRS transcript for 2019 but that's about it.

Thank you for your response. This placated my worries. *finger crossed*

So we got our rejection letter today. The NOA says it was rejected because we used expired forms...and all the forms show that the expiration date is in the future. Nothing about the I-944. So do I just include that form now and re-print and re-submit all the other paperwork?

Removal of Conditions:

Nebraska Service Center

File Date - January 17, 2023

Package Delivered - January 19, 2023

NOA Date - January 24, 2023

NOA Received - January 27, 2023

Biometrics Waived- January 31, 2023
